  • The best tool for drywall, whether DIY or pro
Size: 11.2 x 3.375 x 7.188 Inch Style: 20V Max Drywall Screwgun Bare Tool
If you are doing more than one sheet of drywall, this should definitely be on your list. I did the majority of a house remodel using one of the little $5 bits you put in a drill or impact driver, and it was a lot of hit-and-miss : some screws were the right depth, some too shallow, some too deep, and the bit often jumped off the screw and dented the drywall. I finally bit the bullet and bought this drywall screw gun and it is FAR better than anything else I've used. Spend a few minutes practice driving screws so you can adjust the depth setting, and then just go to work. The auto-engage setting is amazing and saves a ton of time. I went through at least eight sheets of drywall on a single charge, and still had two bars on the battery. Just fantastic. ... show more

  • Huge time saver

Make sure you are adjusting the screw depth correctly and this tool will save you tons of time! 100% worth the money if you have a large drywall project to do

  • Its good
Size: 11.2 x 3.375 x 7.188 Inch Style: 20V Max Drywall Screwgun Bare Tool
Works well but wont drive the screws deep enough if at an angle, like in corners. It will work well if its straight, and does drive the screws fast. A little pricey for someone who does ocasional drywall i would say in my opinion. Works well with any dewalt battery.

  • Mr. Arthritis here, can't work without this tool
Size: 11.2 x 3.375 x 7.188 Inch Style: 20V Max Drywall Screwgun Bare Tool
I'm not sure why there are any bad reviews on this device, except for someone who had really bad luck and received a defective unit. For me, this screwgun has been a life saver, or maybe more accurately, a hand saver. I'm rapidly developing painful osteoarthritis in my dominant hand. This limits my ability for any repetitive work with my hands. I went from mounting one or two pieces of dry wall a day (yup, pain is that annoying), to putting up six to eight 8x4's. It's faster taking less energy, and gives more accurate screw depth setting. Basically, you just push the screw into place, maybe a little exaggeration there. It's also rugged, I've dropped it three times from a ladder, still running strong. I've only placed about 500 screws so far, and I'm still on the original battery charge. I'm an amateur as you might have guessed, think how fast and efficient a professional would be. I would highly recommend this tool, a great buy. ... show more

  • Full functionality needed
Size: 11.2 x 3.375 x 7.188 Inch Style: 20V Max Drywall Screwgun Bare Tool
I purchased this drywall screwgun originally back in 2024 and its full function only lasted a few weeks. The mode button on the top of the gun stopped working(it didn't even light up the 1, 2, or 3). I received no help from the seller regarding this issue so I then contacted Dewalt and they replied they could not assist me because it was not purchased through Dewalt or an official seller of Dewalt. As a result, I just used the gun as I could(only manually using the trigger rather than the automatic-the reason I purchased the drill). Now, I am tempting fate as I just purchased another drill because I work by myself and I need the automatic. I know, probably a dumb move, but I am one to give another chance. Hopefully, the second purchase will be a charm. I will definitely update once received. ... show more
