I have been using this lock for my vehicle. Since I had issues installing and alarm system, I figured I would give this little device a try. I love it! I love how it looks, I love the color and I love how easy it is to use. I had a little difficulty at first when trying to remove it but once I figured it out, it was very easy to use. With a concerning rise in vehicle theft of all makes in our area, we’re taking added precautions to secure our vehicles. The “Club” style steering wheel locks, while largely effective at deterring theft, aren’t ideal for leather steering wheels so I went looking for another solution for my Audi. I wanted something that would be visible from the outside of the car so it looks like a hassle to steal, but wouldn’t be a hassle for me to store up front while I’m driving or be annoying to use. This device meets all of my requirements. It was easy to get locked in and adjust the cover to prevent scratching my interior’s leather. The bright pink is visible from outside even through my tinted rear windows. It feels very sturdy and would take some work to get through even with the proper tools, so I’m optimistic that most thieves wouldn’t want to spend the time and won’t bother with it. We’re trying a few other devices for our other cars to see what works best for each unique model, but I’m comfortable recommending this in general. For under $25 that includes a good quality escape tool (if you don’t have one of these, you should), this is a great buy. ... show more

Most cars nowadays come with enough technology to prevent theft, but sometimes a physical lock will be enough to prevent a would-be thief from breaking into a vehicle. This steering wheel lock is compact, with a bright pink sleeve that serve as a visual warning that will make thieves work harder if they want to get away with someone else’s vehicle. The lock is made of braided steel cables covered with a nylon sleeve for protection against scratching surfaces and will easily lock the steering wheel to the driver’s seat belt receptacle, here with one of the two keys provided you will immobilize your vehicle. The process takes about a minute, and it is extremely easily; taking off is just equally easy: just turn key while pressing down towards the seatbelt receptacle. Because of slight differences from every cart/car/SUV seatbelt receptacle, it will be a good idea to practice to avoid scratches or more extensive damage. In general, steel cables are difficult to cut or saw, a strong nylon fabric also provides some degree of protection against cutting so in theory we have in our hands a simple, economical good theft deterrent device which may help many to try to safeguard their property among the latest theft wave that is affecting multiple car brands all over the States. But there is also a bonus and this one may save your life in an accident. The pink safety hammer not only break thru glass, it also is able to cut thru safety belts or other restraining cords. As is, this two items are a must in many vehicles; this bundle contain both and are nicely priced. You should consider it or in think of it as a gift for the vehicle of a loved one.
