  • Excellent - best of four we tried
My husband broke his scapula (and six ribs!) and the exit paperwork from the ER told him to wear a sling, but didn't send him home with one. I bought one sling from Walgreens (inexpensive and basically useless), and three of the better selling models from Amazon. One of the three had a split shoulder strap - thought that would be the winner - but it didn't hold his arm securely against his chest well enough and was somewhat uncomfortable. The other we tried was very uncomfortable for him, and left red marks on his neck. This one ticks all the boxes. I put it on him and he immediate said "That's better!". It's breathable, he found the arm pouch quite comfortable, and the Velcro strap is really easy to adjust. It held his arm securely against his chest, and completely removed the tug on his shoulder from the weight of his arm. No neck pain. He was even able to sleep with it! Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Arm sling
I recently had to use an arm sling after fracturing my arm, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. This sling was not only a great price, but it also worked wonderfully for my recovery process. The design is comfortable and supportive, providing just the right amount of stability for my injured arm. I appreciated how easy it was to adjust, ensuring a snug fit without being overly tight. It allowed me to go about my daily activities with minimal discomfort. Overall, I highly recommend this arm sling to anyone in need of support during their recovery. It’s effective, affordable, and made a significant difference in my healing journey! ... show more

  • Comfortable and Easy
Super comfortable! Easy to do with one hand. Only downside is if you have long arms or a bulky cast, the sling stops at the wrist so it is hard to use the thumb loop.

  • good quality
Too small for an arm/elbow in a cast. Quality/size is not in question. I ordered prior to measuring overall needed length.

  • Too short once cast is on, sore neck, not good for thumb surgery.
I had to have hand surgery and bought this ahead of time. It felt fine trying it out before surgery. After surgery I quickly realized it was wholly inadequate. Once the cast was on, it was difficult to keep it in place. I couldn't use the thumb strap, because my surgery involved my thumb. In addition, it pressed into my neck. I found one that is made for shoulder stabilization that has two straps, which saved my neck. My elbow was allowed to pass through one side so no thumb strap was needed. So if you won't be able to use your thumb, or you don't want a sore neck, find the one with 2 straps. Also, if you're going to have a nerve block, the shoulder stabilization strap is invaluable because you won't be able to control your arm for 2 days, and that strap will keep your arm from swinging around. ... show more

  • That this arm sling is worthy of your money.

  • (๑❛ᴗ❛๑) Great Sling!!!
I purchased this brace for extra support after a humerus fracture and to replace the cheap sling the hospital gave me. This sling is great!! It can be used for sprains, tendonitis, extra support for breaks when you have to wear a brace or cast. I use this particular one to allow my wrist to move around as it is a little shorter. ( I am 5'8"). I then use the Arm Sling Fit XL to cover my whole lower arm and hand to give my wrist a rest. These slings are made very nice, breathable and easy to use by yourself which is exactly what I was looking for. Excellent customer service also!! ... show more

  • Full review with dimensions and pictures! Full review with dimensions and pictures!
The product is a good value, overall. But there is a flaw that you should be aware of and it could not come across in a picture. Any picture. The strap is padded on the top, the part that hangs on your shoulder right by your neck. BUT, where it does not have padding and could have used it, is the part of the strap that goes on your back. Since your arm is in front of you (your chest/stomach region), that means the strap does apply pressure on your back. Your arm is hanging down, but also kind of pushing forward, trust me. So the pad is fine for about 15 mins, slightly uncomfortable over the next 30, then it starts getting irritated. There is a solution: You can apply duct tape or get some foam tape or even get the pad that goes on the belt in a kid's car seat, and it will provide padding. Or you can think of your own solution... I'm' sure if you think about it many ideas will come to you. Other than that, the product DOES provide nice support for your arm and has a thumb sling, which will keep your hands from hanging uncomfortably and will keep that hand parallel to the forearm. Good product, take a look at the pics for dimensions! ... show more
