  • A lot more comfortable than the one from the hospital.
I got this after a shoulder surgery last month (June 2023). The sling I got from the hospital was so uncomfortable after a long period of time wearing it. The shoulder strap in that one kept cutting in to my skin so I was having to adjust it all the time. The pad on the strap kept sliding around and would not stay where I wanted it to. This sling's shoulder pad was so much more comfortable than the hospital one. I actually slept with it on to help support my shoulder. As to the breathability of the material, it seemed to be fine. I did develop a little heat rash on the inside of my arm, but that is likely due to my arm being immobile. The rash cleared up on its own after a few days, all the while I was still using this sling. ... show more

  • Easy to adjust
This is easy to adjust yourself, dont need help getting it on and off. Its lightweight and the best I found for around my neck and not irritating. My only request would be the sling to be an inch or two longer, to easier keep my hand in the sling also.

  • performs as it should
bought this for my mother who had a stroke in November and her left arm is flacid. Holds arm and shoulder in place fairly well when she wears it, wish it was a bit longer so it would support more of her hand also.

  • It works but
This sling will support either arm well but the loops that are supposed to go over your thumb isn't the best design. My hands are not that big and the loops cut off the circulation in my thumbs with a quickness. I can wear it I just have to slide it down now and then.

  • Works well
I'm a little smaller than average (5'7" and 125 lbs.) so I had to shorten up the elbow side strap to get the support I was looking for. A very nice product.

  • Sling
No big deal. It does what it was designed to do.

  • Sling
This helped as my arm was sore for me to not use as much to help a little. This was a little uncomfortable as I think could have fit a little better maybe.

  • Soooo comfortable!
This sling was immensely more comfortable than the one issued to me by the surgeon who did my rotator cuff repair. The only thing is, I am petite, so the length was fine for me--but I don't think it would be for a larger person.
