Needed something fast, and cheap due to temperatures dropping to the teens. Old thermostat was on but stuck in the 60s as the set temp. Replaced and worked just fine.

    • Bad thermostat
Not a good thermostat I set it at 76 within an hour. It would go to 78 then 80 and never shut off bought a new thermostat and a different brand and works 100% better so no I would not recommend this thermostat to anybody.

    • Great Improvement over 25 year old Thermostat!
Purchased for large, readable font and so that I could feel the up/down control rather than digital since I’ve begun to have some vision problems. Screen is gray and readable unless you touch the controls, then it goes bright blue for easier reading. Caution on installation. Our thermostat was 23 years old so had 8 wires. We did have to spend $95 for a technician to do the wiring rather than taking a chance on blowing up the heat pump! Lol. If you have a modern thermostat, shouldn’t be a problem…look at a YouTube video. ... show more
