The first picture is off the Amazon page, the second picture is the actual blanket. If precise color matching is important to you, you are likely to be disappointed. For my purposes it's fine; soft and very lightweight, which is what we wanted. It's in the wash now, so if it doesn't absolutely disintegrate the four-star rating will stand. ... show more

This is a ‘sheet blanket’. Some reviewers seem to be confused about this…. It is slightly thicker than a sheet (but with more warmth) and much thinner than a blanket. Very comfortable and super lightweight, perfect for warm summer nights. Or for layering. Somebody said this blanket was stiff. Nothing could be further from the truth. Wow! When they say "light weight" they aren't joking. This is not a blanket, it is more like a tissue. I purchased the "blanket" after reading reviews, particularly one review stating it reminded the purchaser of blankets growing up as a kid. That poor person must have grown up in a homeless shelter or refugee camp. Notice in the picture how easily you can see the print on the bed sheet underneath this "blanket". This won't even serve as a blanket to have on the couch to bundle up while watching a movie. The review software is asking me to rate it based on "lightweight, softness, and comfort". While it is very, very lightweight and soft, I really don't think those metrics are going to help someone from being dissappointed after purchasing this item. ... show more
