  • Awesome value in the 600w or 850w
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
have used these in a back up gaming pc build for my son and daughter and they are fantastic value In a 600w units!!! I also a 850 gold for my RC battery charger. My charger when I'm charging my 2-3s 5000mah packs in parallel 6 batteries per channel on both channels so 12x 3s 5000 mah lipo packs I'm charinging at 70 amps. My Icharger 406 duo is capable of 40 amps per channel and 70 amps if running both channels. So it's pushing out 840watts during the charge cycles and it handles it with no issues what so ever. No thermal issues when demanding 840 watts from it contentious and voltage stays locked in. The 850w gold I've had for seems about 2 years now and it's used to charge pretty much every single day. Some times it's 12x 5000mah packs parallel charged one set after the next when my kids and I are flying and or driving rc cars, boats, planes.. my icharger 406 duo and this power supply do very well together for rapid charging of the 2-3 cell lipo packs from 2200mah to 5000mah. For me being as close to the wattage as I am, pulling 840 constant @70 amps out of a 850w unit I fully expected to have some thermal issues and figured ide just charge at 60amps if it's having trouble delivering the 70a constant. But shockingly it handles 840w constant and has for two years or more without issues. Now I will say when the charger is in constant current part of the charging and it's putting out 70 amps of charge current the unit will get pretty dang warm but nothing to serious, at room temperature of 72F during a 70 Amp charge on 5000mah packs to where it's sustaining 840 watts of demand it will get up to maybe 110F but with a external fan blowing on it the temps will stay in the 95-100F range. For the 50 bucks I paid for the 850 gold it's been a mega good value for my needs. Reliable, quiet, smooth current delivery, very consistent voltage under high load... it's just been a dang good power supply as have both the 600w units in the back up gaming PC builds for my son and daughter. I never would have thought that the 850 watt gold would have been able to sustain 12v/70amp demand consistently as it's to close to its max wattage, I totally expected that I would have to back the current down to 60a so that would be around 720 watts for it to not have thermal issues with the power demands. It has done it for 2 years or more now and never skips a beat! If you have a computer build that needs a 850w supply I would absolutely say the 850w gold would do you a fantastic and reliable job! Computers put no where near the constant load on a unit as a high power lipo battery charger and it handles it without issue so I have no doubt it would do the same in a high demand PC build. I'm sure there are better built units out there, I'm sure there are units that deliver slightly cleaner power but at the price I don't think any other unit comes close to these. Buy one and you won't regret it, they are rock solid values and high performance units. ... show more

  • Nicely priced quality ATX power supply!
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
Bought this to replace a failing power supply when upgrading an ATX motherboard and AMD Ryzen CPU system. Works perfectly! May not have the elegant ribbon style cabling, but if you don't care how the cabling looks or if you have a closed computer case and your power needs are less than 600W, this is the power supply to get! Easy installation into case, cables plenty long to attach to various motherboard components as well as SATA SSD and HD, DVD recorders and more! Delivers plenty of power, noise level is fine, easy connections, stable power output. Highly recommend this power supply! ... show more

  • Reliable and Efficient Power Supply!
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
The Thermaltake SMART 600W is an excellent power supply that delivers steady, clean power with no issues at all. Installation was straightforward, and all the cables were the right length for a clean, organized build. It runs quiet and cool, even under load, and the 80 Plus certification gives peace of mind knowing it’s efficient and dependable. I’ve been running my system daily with no hiccups — rock-solid performance all around. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly PSU that doesn’t cut corners, this one is a great choice. • Good value for the price, but with caveats.
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
I picked up this Thermaltake SMART 600W PSU because it offered 80 Plus certification and seemed to check all the basic boxes for a budget build. It indeed delivers power, and for lighter to mid-level systems, it works without obvious problems. Many users also report quiet noise levels and a full complement of connectors. That said, there are several compromises you should be aware of: It’s a budget-tier unit. On forums, users mention the SMART series lacks robust protections (OVP, OCP, surge handling) that one would expect in a higher-tier PSU. If you’re pushing near 600 W load or using a high-end GPU + overclocked CPU, the lifespan and reliability might be questionable. “For low power PC’s they are ok ish at best.” It may serve fine for a standard build (office/gaming moderate), but for serious loads or long-term durability, one should consider investing more. Some reviews note the manufacturing changed between revisions, so quality may vary. Verdict: If you’re building a moderate spec PC and want decent value, this PSU is acceptable. But expect trade-offs: less headroom, fewer protections, possibly shorter service life. For mission-critical or high-end builds, it's better to step up to a stronger unit. ... show more

Replacement for my HP OMEN Obelisk desktop. Worked perfectly - Original HP Power Supply, was 500W, this 600W works great, and supports higher end graphics card I had installed previously.

  • Works well
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
The 600W version of this supply has been working well so far for three days continuously with a new Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 motherboard and Ryzen 7 processor. The power plugs on this supply are just what are needed for the connectors on this MB, and the cables are plenty long enough for the full ATX profile. The fan is nice and quiet. ... show more

  • Best starter power supply 😏😏😏
Style: 80 + White Size: 600W
This power supply looks nice and it feels nice and it also gives me great power and more mobility around specific cases and when creating a build on a new pc the cable quality is fair as it serves its purpose and the cables also allow you to split from more mobility then you think just don't think you can rip everything but it's great for cable management to get in areas you wouldn't expect to. But I use this same power supply on three different builds and it's usually compatible with older boards and newer boards and the smell of fresh metal is beautiful ... show more
