  • Great gaming PC!
The PC came without any problems. The RGB lights are cool, the computer doesn't overheat, the graphics are amazing and all games run well without issue. I don't notice the noise level when playing even the most graphic intensive games. In addition, cable management inside the case is well-thought out and the case itself is solid. Well worth the cost :) ... show more

  • Good specs for price but comes with some issues
I never write reviews but figured I would write one about this PC considering there are things I wish I knew ahead of time. I will say that I don't regret buying this PC, but if you want it to not suck in certain ways, I might be able to save you some time after a few months of figuring stuff out. I'll separate this into the good and the bad. The good: - For the price point you get a pretty beefy machine. The processor and GPU are especially great, of course, but do keep in mind that there are certain areas where the manufacturers make up those costs (I'll get to that later). - It looks nice, the RGB lighting is great, the water cooling is phenomenal, and for those like me who are likely to end up opening the thing up to tinker with stuff at some point, it disassembles super easily. The big case makes it easy to work inside of the computer as well. - There were no noticeable problems with the assembly of my machine when it arrived. Alright, now for the bad: - While the assembly of the machine was good, the quality of some of the parts in the machine were not. Namely, two things that are purely cosmetic but still unpleasant: firstly, one of the two 16gb ram sticks in the machine arrived with the plastic shell separated from the ram stick on one side. Like I said, this is purely cosmetic but still bothers me every time I look at it. Secondly, the INSIDE of the removable glass wall of my case arrived insanely scratched (not kidding, it looks like someone dragged a chair over the glass or something). It does not wash off at all. While the ram stick maybe could be written off to a shipping issue, these scratches were absolutely present on the glass case wall when the machine was assembled, because they are only present on the inside. I've attached pictures of both of these issues below. - The network card in this computer is garbage. If you have a gigabit connection and can't figure out why your connection keeps getting randomly negotiated down to 100mbps, let me save you the month-long struggle I went through and tell you: it's the ethernet card. I went through multiple wires, endlessly configured settings on the computer, my router, and went through a whole list of fake problems before finally narrowing the issue down to the network card. My advice: buy a better one when you buy this (if you plan to use ethernet), OR buy a ethernet-to-USB-C cable and plug it into the top of the computer. I'm currently doing the USB-C option but will probably upgrade the network card later. - The RGB software that comes pre-installed is worthless. It legitimately does not function. This is not Thermaltake's fault but rather the motherboard manufacturer, but still, be aware that you will need to find alternative software to manage it. Not a big issue. - If you add additional ram to the computer, and it stops outputting a display signal, be ready to reset CMOS, because that is the solution. Again, Not Thermaltake's fault, but if you order more ram, make sure you order a jumper cap as well because this motherboard doesn't have a CMOS button. That's about it. Again, I am overall happy with my purchase, but the experience so far has been far from perfect. I am literally an IT professional, and still had a ton of trouble with certain issues (especially that awful network card) so I can imagine that someone buying this because they don't want to have to deal with any issues would be completely lost and just end up returning the computer. In short: If you plan on upgrading ram, buy a jumper cap as well, you will probably need it. If you plan on using ethernet, get an ethernet-to-USB-C cable instead of a normal Cat6 cable, it will save you a ton of trouble. If you absolutely need to use a Cat6 cable, plan on upgrading the network card because it sucks. The machine overall is great but some parts might come cosmetically damaged (or possibly worse if you are unlucky). Overall I would normally give this a 4/5, but the scratches on the glass case wall especially are too egregious for me to ignore, so that is why I gave this 3/5. Hope this review can be of help to someone in the future. ... show more

  • Very happy with this purchase
I have been using this system for almost 3 months now and have zero complaints. It worked flawlessly out of the box. While I am not a fan of the white case, it was the only one available in the timeframe needed. And now that I have it, I am really loving the look of it. Buying a PC online can be a nightmare (I've received DOAs twice before, brand new in the box from other manufacturers). This has been a fantastic system. Everything was as described, great speed and consistency. The GPU is dreamy. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Questionable quality control
Nice machine, reasonable price, but some quality control issues. 1. Included software to control case lights/fan lights/RAM stick lights doesn't really work, I cannot turn the RAM lights off no matter what, and half the time, that software won't even launch in Windows. This, despite it is a clean pre-install of Windows 11. 2.The PSU died abruptly after two months. Thermaltake offered to RMA the PSU only with a 7-10 business day turnaround for a new PSU. The way the case is engineered, it may take two hours of disassembly or more to remove the PSU in the first place. I'm not doing that. 3. (Not really QC, but useful.) The included 850w PSU is *not* modular. Aside from the strategically very well hidden/anchored/ziptied cables running throughout the case, there is a big fistful of wires bundled up together stuffed into a cavity at the bottom of the case. Real missed opportunity. Had it been modular, it would have been VERY easy to remove/swap out for a replacement... I'm returning through Amazon and have ordered a new system. We'll see. A dead PSU and wonky lighting control are not desirable things. ... show more

  • Eh
Bluetooth not working on my machine. Audio and mouse signal cuts out constantly while using bluetooth. Wifi also stops working sometimes, and the whole "Wifi" tab disappears from the Windows Network Settings menu Other than that, no problems. Would say it's worth the price

  • Love this computer
My previous few computers were custom made and I've always had so many problems getting those fully functional and as I get older I don't want to bother with that anymore. So I decided to buy this and I couldn't be happier. Nothing was broken, malfunctioning, or unplugged on arrival.
