At first, the PC would shut down due to overheating after a few minutes. After a few days, he noticed there was still one protective pad that was covering a fan. Purchased this on Black Friday sale, but once I received and opened it my disappointment began. After unpacking and setup, the PC would not start at all. I rechecked the instructions, rechecked the connections, and still no success. Placed multiple calls and emails to Thermaltake support and have yet to get a response. Tried escalating though Amazon but best they’d offer was a return, zero exchange, zero price difference on a new purchase, and then was hung up on. ... show more

Tried to write a detailed review and issues and amazon timed it out. But short plastic left on the heatsync. Overheating and fan speed issues. Noisey during initial start up before even installing anything.

Wouldn’t turn on. ThermalTake told me it was a power supply unit issue. Told me to contact Amazon about a replacement. Amazon wouldn’t replace so had to do a return and refund to get the money back to reorder it. Boondoggle of a process.

I ordered this product for my daughter for Xmas. She opened it Xmas morning and was super excited...plugged everything in hit the power button and nothing...had to deal with thermal take support and tried everything to get it to work so we could enjoy it for her Xmas break...even bought a new Power Supply for it....turns out they think it was the motherboard that was bad so I had to mail it to them all the way in California and the just shipped it back to me so in another 5days maybe it will finally work and my daughter can enjoy her Xmas present 3 weeks later....the only saving grace was that ThermalTakes customer support has been phenomenal. ... show more

I like how everything was fit nicely, cables were hidden good. case looked good and clean. should add a little more cushion to support the computer parts and run a few test before sending off. after unboxing and plugging in there was no power. called customer support after troubleshooting they said to send it back defective power supply, sad face. so to be honest can't really say much about thermaltake frostbite prebuilt pc since I never got the chance to see it turned on. ... show more
