I thought it was a good story and I liked how it started in the present and flashed back to explain how the present was reached. I liked the characters and their interaction with each other. That being said, I feel it could have used some more editing and a run through spellcheck. Some of the grammar was off and I had to reread several passages to make sure I knew what the author was saying. I did find that it read a little too much like a screen play rather than a novel, but all in all it was a sweet take on romance. A light, quick and enjoyable read. ... show more

This a very short novel which meets the criteria of any good novel it was entertaining and held my interest. I am quick to abandon ship if not entertained. The author provided a good feel for the emotions of the characters, which were realistic but at least in one instance overly exagerated.

This sweet little novel is enjoyable - just as a love story should be! Short, to the point, and filled with characters that will have you aptly cheering or jeering, Ryan Crane leaves explicitness to imagination and instead chooses to focus on the elements of romance. Frankly, I think that's refreshing! In a world filled with so many darker shades, sometimes something a little lighter and brighter is a good thing. At times, the writing offers descriptive perspective more like that of a screenplay (perhaps there are plans intertwined here), but I found the story overall to be a worthy offering within this genre.
