The MCU is based on the Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus and this volume, The Thanos Wars, Infinity Origin, is the prequel to it. This volume explains the origin of Thanos (created by Jim Starlin), the rejuvenation of Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock and the conflict between the three. This omnibus ends with the death of both Captain Marvel and Thanos. The Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus opens with the resurrection of Thanos which directly picks up where The Thanos Wars ended. The best part about these omnibus volumes is that one can read the entire story in one place (technically two for both omnibus volumes). Read both of these omnibus volumes and the MCU movies will be more enjoyable. ... show more

Very fair price and fast delivery!! The only thing I'll say is that the top corners were a little dented but I assume that's because of the shrink wrap. Either way, A+ service and I totally recommend the read.

This is a good book that leads to INFINITY WARS. Tells you why THANOS does what he does, and starts the war. A good book. it shipped to you in good shape. It is a good book for MARVEL fan's. They well love it.

    • Amazing quality and a must have release.
This is the best way to read the beginnings of Thanos without spending an absurd amount of money on 30 year old comics. There are a few gaps in the story I wish they had in here but they arent too important and they are summarized nicely. This collection is definitely worth it.

Big fan of the author and the material. Great to see the original Thanos Sagas in one volume. Only complaint is the cover. With all the Starlin material out there related to Thanos I’m disappointed they went with the cover used

Great collection! Even for completionists this is great! There are only 4 issues outside of this that could even be loosely related to Thanos’ early appearances.

More than I expected. The color quality of the pages were great. The amount of stories collected in one book were definitely a feat to put together. Definitely recommend.
