I recently purchased this. The step is nicely made. However, the size of it didn’t fit my exercise needs. It was very small and cramped for me. I just knew that if I kept it I wouldn’t be happy. My feet wanted to slip off the front of the step. And I just knew that doing any corner to corner moves it would be way too small. I returned and ordered something bigger. I bought this stepper for my 81 year old father to use as an exercise tool to strengthen his ankles and calves. He and his wife started using it right away. It was the perfect height for their skill level and needs. It comes with 2 risers for each side for a total of 4. The things they loved: -sturdy construction -non slip platform -wide surface area -non-slip base -lightweight -adjustability The only drawback is that the bases don't stay together when being moved from place to place. The quality is fine - it's usable for the intended purpose, but the risers do not snap onto or connect to the platform (or the other risers) in any way. If you just want to set it up and keep it in the exact same place all the time, it will probably be a good choice for you. But if you want to be able to lean it against a wall to keep it out of the way - or even move it 6 inches to another position once you've set it up, the whole thing falls apart the moment you try to nudge it aside with your foot. I ended up returning it and getting another step for less money that the risers actually connect to and stay put if you move it around or lean it in the corner when you're not using it. ... show more
