I bought these same bungees about 10 years ago since they were listed at that time as long-lasting or maybe guaranteed for life?? Well, i still have them and they definitely last a lot longer than regular bungees or even the black rubber ones. They do stretch a bit over time if they are left in an stretched condition - but not too bad. I have lost some of the original ones so i need more to replace them. These are not your father's bungee cords. They don't stretch like regular bungee cords, but I knew that going in after reading reviews. They do take a little getting used to. We'll see how they hold up long-term. I like the ones with the loop on the end but am not sure how that loop will hold up over time. ... show more
