The Ove Glove is perfect for the kitchen, barbeque and handling hot surfaces around the house. The Ove Glove exterior layer is made of tough heat and flame resistant material used by firefighters. Interior layer of soft doubleknit cotton. The tough exterior of this glove forms a thermal isolation barrier, slowing the temperature increase in the interior layer of soft doubleknit cotton. When exposed to an open flame, the outer layer of glove does not catch fire and does not melt. Machine washable.

The ove glove is the only oven glove I use while cooking. I have used many times and they still work just as well as when I bought them. They are a decent size and the material stretches so they can fit pretty much anybody. They are made from a thick, strong material so you can feel how great the quality is and know that you can touch the hot pans and not get burned. You can cook, grill, and bake pretty much anything with these gloves because the fingers are separated unlike in regular oven mits and there is little grips on them so it is easier to grab and use your hands and fingers to cook. I have washed and dried them a couple of times and they are still strong and i don't feel the heat while using them. I've been useing The Ove Glowe for over 10 years. I have had to repurchase them when they get so stained they just look like they're done. I don't like my guests to see me using something that doesn't look clean when I'm handling the food I'm serving. They still work, but I typically replace them every few years. They do wash well, so they do stay looking nice a long time. What I'm really happy about is that the quality has not deminished. The ones I just purchased are still the same quality as the first ones I ever had. They aren't cute, but using a glove instead of a mitt just makes moving hot pans and dishes in and out of the oven so much easier! I have small hands, but these still work well for me. ... show more

It is so nice to have these gloves for getting hot bread out of a hot pan. They have really good grip, protected my hands from the heat, and it is nice to be able to spread my fingers around the pan or the loaf to get it out and onto a wire rack. Great for taking hot pans and trays out of the oven too. I have large hands for a woman and they fit me just fine. Hands down these are the best oven mits on the market. I love the grips as someone who has weak wrists and often drops things. You can not feel any heat through these. But do not get them wet when using them! You can wash them though when needed. They will fit large hands.
