The Ove Glove is perfect for the kitchen, barbeque and handling hot surfaces around the house. The Ove Glove exterior layer is made of tough heat and flame resistant material used by firefighters. Interior layer of soft doubleknit cotton. The tough exterior of this glove forms a thermal isolation barrier, slowing the temperature increase in the interior layer of soft doubleknit cotton. When exposed to an open flame, the outer layer of glove does not catch fire and does not melt. Machine washable.

It is so nice to have these gloves for getting hot bread out of a hot pan. They have really good grip, protected my hands from the heat, and it is nice to be able to spread my fingers around the pan or the loaf to get it out and onto a wire rack. Great for taking hot pans and trays out of the oven too. I have large hands for a woman and they fit me just fine. There's are my favorite pot holders. It's nice to have usable fingers and protection. I use them with the oven, using cooking utensils and with cast iron. They have grip that works and you can pour out of pans and hang on with slipping

Allows you to grab anything hot so they are useful and safer than regular kitchen mitts. The glove design Gives you more control when handling hot stuff which can be dangerous. Get two pairs- it works well when you have them on both hands- especially heavy items

    • Much better than my mittens
I have been wanting to get a pair of these gloves because I originally had mittens that are so hard to be even be able to pick up a pizza pan out of the oven. They're still bulky but work very well and handle the heat of something directly out of the oven quite well. My tactile sensation in my fingertips is not that great but these have allowed me to be able to grip pans and casserole dishes easily and take them out of the oven. ... show more

    • They work, BUT...
Quality is good and they work. But they are way too large and built for a good size man's hand- I suppose to make it one size fit all. So you lose some of the functionality a glove offers. a BIG improvement could be made if they offered a smaller size option.

    • Wonderful Oven Gloves!
They solved the problem of getting burned by hot pads which were small or too thin. No problem handling the hottest, large item going out of the oven. I have large hands they fit me just fine.
