I make our own sourdough bread... two loaves a week. I was looking for non-slip hot pad holders that were more washable. My old ones took forever to dry. These are working great to remove a very hot and heavy cast iron pan from very hot oven. No slipping. I like that they cover my arms, too. These are perfect for holding hot pans. The heat does not come through at all. They’re a little bit bulky and awkward - they don’t quite bend around a pan so you can squish things with fragile surfaces like cake or soufflés. Really nice silicon oven mitts. I like the length. Seems to be able to easily handle hot items. Like any oven mitt, you can only hold on long enough to get something out of the oven.
