Not only functional but aesthetically pleasing! I purchased these because they matched the color scheme of my kitchen, which is beige and white. These oven mitts are good and sturdy. I really prefer gloves to regular potholders because it makes it easier to grip things. They are a little large, but that doesn't render them unusable. They are versatile because they can be used to rest dishes on the counter to dissipate the heat. The fact that they are silicone coated is great because it keeps things from slipping. The insides feel good since they are fabric lined. The outside is very easy to clean which is a great bonus. I thought they might not keep the heat at bay, but so far I've had no problem. What great silicone Kitchenaid oven mits! They fit my hand perfectly which is a medium size hand. The heat does not go through the gloves. When something gets on the glove all I do is put them under a running faucet and it comes clean! Wonderful feature! The glove is not bulky or awkward as you pick up the hot dish or pan. These are wonderful! I loved my old Pampered Chef mitts but they were all fabric and got so dirty. After washing they shrank and were still stained. The silicone ones are so easy to clean and so have the soft material on the inside. Everyone should have a pair! They work great on all different types of pans, from metal to glass to stone.
