It’s very easy to use and gets your knives sharp very fast. After the initial 10 or so minutes of sharpening when you first hone the blade, all it takes is 1 or 2 minutes each side thereafter to sharpen it again to retain your knives’ edge. Use it before chopping lots of food and you’ll have a good time cutting. However, I’ve had the Tumblr for a year now and the only complaint I have is the mechanism has gotten loud. It makes a very loud rubbery grinding noise and it’s distracting. Furthermore, the rolling wheels themselves seem to have gotten more friction. Not sure why this is but I cannot fix it. It’s also not possible to open the Tumblr and perform your own maintenance. Disappointed with the maintenance experience, but happy with the ease of use. My Tumblr still works and sharpens my knives well, but using it after a year now has more friction!

So far so good! I can definitely notice the difference with cuts after knives have been sharpened. What would really put this experience over the top is if Tumbler offered a database for specific knife brands/types, and the angle of that specific knife model.

Seems to work ok for some kitchen knifes but is not very versatile for a wide range of knifes. I would expect to be able to sharpen all knifes for the price of this thing. Overall quality seems good. Just not worth it for the price in my opinion.
