Picked this up on a black Friday sale to sharpen our carving set for Thanksgiving. So glad we thought to purchase it as we were hoping to use my grandparents carving set that was passed down to us. The 60 year old set sharpened beautifully and works like new! Would recommend!

Easy to use and sharpens quickly. Not sure how well the honing side works. I ended up using a separate honing steel to get the last of the burrs off. Otherwise it’s perfect as advertised!

I returned the Original Tumbler Rolling Knife Sharpener because it didn’t live up to the hype. A lot of reviews indicated it was a good tool, but for my intended use it wasn’t appropriate. For smaller knives it was almost impossible to use correctly. For larger knives like a chef’s knife it’s okay. It definitely doesn’t work like a good stone. I tried it on several different metal blades but never got the sharpness described in the ads/brochures. In my opinion because of its limitations I think it’s way overpriced. A good stone is a fraction of the price and can be used across different blade sizes, shapes, and steels. Unfortunately I can’t recommend the Original Tumbler Rolling Knife Sharpener. ... show more
