This story pulls you in from the start and it takes you on a (good) emotional ride. The storyline is entertaining and the characters and their individual relationships between the group of Maddie and 3 Alphas, an Omega, and her roommate who is also a Beta. I enjoyed the unique take on a Beta that can be triggered to "switch" to an Omega and an Omega who switches to an Alpha. Roxy took the normal Omegaverse and spiced it up and created an entirely ever changing dynamic that made me laugh and cry as the past hurts were resolved and healed with unconditional love regardless of their "status". This book is on the lighter side, the spice is medium, there is MM scenes as well as group scenes. There's a little mystery, a merger than causes a few headaches, some heartache, and a whole lot of relationship building. There's a HEA and why chose where the FMC gets to love and be loved by Billionaires, a Lord, and her best friend. This is a solid four star for me. Good plot, good character arcs, good spice, and good internal dialogue. I absolutely enjoyed it. The thing that took off star vibes for me was the number of mates a little overwhelming - I personally need characters to be deep and get a lot of screen time. Lucas was gone until 60% and when he gets there, he’s the dominant alpha?? Even though Alain was consistently described as the dark angel? However, the shallow was then smashed by the utterly fascinating designation switch aspect. DANG I loved it, I want more!! Phew. 5/5 spice, 3/5 character arcs, 4/5 plot. It was an enjoyable, steamy story. I liked Maddie and the concept of the ‘designation switch” was intriguing. Although, I struggled with how they didn’t seem to realize she had switched until she told them. The guys were hot,although, I don’t really feel like we got as much with Luc. Initially, it seemed like the potential harem might be larger, and I wasn’t really a fan of how Max ended, but that may be partially my own trigger. This is one of my favorite omegaverse books I've ever read, I didn't want to put it down. Spice was perfection and I enjoyed seeing the characters come to grips with issues from their past. I liked how the relationships didn't just easily fall into place. There were a few loose ends I wanted to know more about, but maybe they'll be covered in other books in the series? There were also some typo throughout so I think it could do with a proofreading but it's not frequent enough to be distracting. I'll definitely be reading more books by this author. ... show more

I loved that even though this is one of my fav genres, I was able to learn about a new type of dynamic the Switches!!! And I'm so so Soo here for it. I'm obsessed with the fact they made a powerful pack and there were quite a few twists I didn't see coming. OMG! Not what I was expecting but I loved all the differences that made this stand out from other omegaverse books. The ending wrap up was a bit of a tear jerker for me but overall a fairly fast paced read that I enjoyed.

I love that you can clearly tell we’ll be getting stories about Finn and about the Lyalls based on how initially we hated them and now they’re not so bad with background. I’m so sad about Max, and had actually hoped he might be part of the pack for that first bit, then I worried he might be involved in the bad stuff happening to them, but when it came out he was sick, I was heart broken he didn’t confide in Maddie, he was always there for her and she just wanted to be there for him too and it’s so sad he got divorced and then didn’t get a happy ending with Mads too! I’m exciting for the rest of series, even as they’re all standalones, I love that they connect a bit! Wonder if Maddy will meet the Lyall’s mate and if she’ll be involved in the other books any! ... show more
