This story pulls you in from the start and it takes you on a (good) emotional ride. The storyline is entertaining and the characters and their individual relationships between the group of Maddie and 3 Alphas, an Omega, and her roommate who is also a Beta. I enjoyed the unique take on a Beta that can be triggered to "switch" to an Omega and an Omega who switches to an Alpha. Roxy took the normal Omegaverse and spiced it up and created an entirely ever changing dynamic that made me laugh and cry as the past hurts were resolved and healed with unconditional love regardless of their "status". This book is on the lighter side, the spice is medium, there is MM scenes as well as group scenes. There's a little mystery, a merger than causes a few headaches, some heartache, and a whole lot of relationship building. There's a HEA and why chose where the FMC gets to love and be loved by Billionaires, a Lord, and her best friend. I liked the book, Maddie is a very realistic character. We don't get quite as in depth about the guys, but they are distinct instead of interchangeable. The concept of switching is added as it pertains to designations - it's something that's not really known about by many, and is very rare, but one switch will always trigger another when they first meet. This is what happens to Maddie, she is a beta that gets triggered and switched into an omega and it is slightly slower and more subtle the first time. One of the other reviews I read was bemoaning Max and I thought maybe it wasn't an HEA book entirely and that he'd rejected her or something and thus avoided reading it for a few months. That isn't the case at all, Max is her boss and was never her lover. But he was originally her mentor and he makes a few rash and questionable choices. I'm not sure how I feel about the switch aspect this universe introduces, there are distinct biological differences between some designations and that just goes away? But they tend to stay a primary designation. For Maddie, that is as an omega. The other switch started as an omega, but can switch into an alpha, but omega is still the primary. If the description sounded good to you, give it a try. There are a few minor typos and it's written in more of the British English, which has some spelling differences. ... show more

It was an enjoyable, steamy story. I liked Maddie and the concept of the ‘designation switch” was intriguing. Although, I struggled with how they didn’t seem to realize she had switched until she told them. The guys were hot,although, I don’t really feel like we got as much with Luc. Initially, it seemed like the potential harem might be larger, and I wasn’t really a fan of how Max ended, but that may be partially my own trigger. I loved that even though this is one of my fav genres, I was able to learn about a new type of dynamic the Switches!!! And I'm so so Soo here for it. I'm obsessed with the fact they made a powerful pack and there were quite a few twists I didn't see coming. OMG! Not what I was expecting but I loved all the differences that made this stand out from other omegaverse books. The ending wrap up was a bit of a tear jerker for me but overall a fairly fast paced read that I enjoyed.

Most of the business jargon went over my head but I got the gist of it lol. The majority of the story was incredible just like all of Roxy’s books! This is the first time I've read anything by this author, I was nervous because the author Is from Australia. I don't know much about Australian living, but this was good and I liked the twist and turns. And I didn't know anything about switches. A switch is a person who can switch from designation to another. In this one we had a male omega who could change from omega to alpha. During one change, he causes a female to change from beta to omega. The book is about two betas who are working to helping a merger between to alpha families and a coal mine. When Maddie is switched to from beta to omega she almost promptly goes into heat. She ends up with the alphas who she is helping with a merger, they end up also helping her with her heat. This book has a storyline hard to describe, but it is engaging, but we have a happily ever after. ... show more
