Description

Returning to Mating Season was supposed to be a blessing, especially for an Omega in my position. I’ve always been drawn to powerful Alphas and the show has plenty to offer. Last season, the pickings were slim. I should be overjoyed to be here again. But that was before I ran into them. Sinfully handsome. Sworn enemies. Territorial leaders who’d rather kill each other than find a Luna. And according to my wolf: Both are my fated mates. The Omega, Mating Season: Season 8, is the final installment to the Mating Season world written per reader request. This story is an MFM (ménage) relationship featuring the sweet Omega named Opal we met in Season Seven and the deliciously dark Alphas she’ll meet during Season Eight. It is a full-length, standalone novel with cameos from characters we’ve come to love. Stay tuned for the epic final release. Read more

  • The whole series was super good
Format: Kindle
I absolutely loved the whole series I read all the books and couldn't wait for the last one to come out and when it did I read it in one day, actually less than one day. I honestly understand the importance of writing reviews, but honestly hate them cuz I never know what to say I don't want to give any teasers away I don't want to share the summary I just want to say it was really good book you should read it. I read a lot of different types of books different demographics different story lines I honestly like my erotica and my fantasy books and I've just gotten to that point where I swipe through a lot of the sex scenes now I know kind of sounds a little pointless so we read erotica but I like the different dichotomies and the different type of drama and the fact that we can love more than one person but we really don't ever talk about it it's hush hush. It's kind of an interesting we have to read about shifters and in fantasy to actually get what is basically human nature for social way design or monogamous by control/social societal pushed upon Us regulations. I digress. This series of books really shows the nitty gritty of societal reality we may label it as shifter versus human but in all honesty the author really lays it out easily and if you take the time you can see all the parallels. What I'm trying to say is it was written good the sex scenes didn't take 20 pages to read through and it had a great theme through the whole series that had it all together. ... show more

  • Great end to an excellent series
Format: Kindle
I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first saw the plan for Opal’s story. (If you want it to be a surprise, don’t read the forward of the book.). While this isn’t the sort of storyline I would be seeking out to read, I couldn’t not know how it all ended for Opal and the others. I’m really impressed with how perfectly the story turned out. When looking at individual elements of the book, you might think ‘that would never work.’ Dorian’s pack is absolutely unique, his history and childhood, but it fits exactly within this narrative. (Sometimes I wonder when I read stories like these, if the author had it all planned out from the beginning. Like in the first book when Aspen describes Opal’s scent, and then how that comes into play in this book. I love those kinds of details and how this series weaves them together.) The scenes I thought might be cringy were artfully done and carefully balanced. I loved the emphasis on love thought the book, and how it all wraps up in the end. (There was one character connection at the end to the first book that I didn’t see coming. Honestly, if I hadn’t just reread them preparing for this book, I would have missed it. There were a lot of things I had forgotten about Opal, having read the first book a year ago, and I really did need to refresh my recollection to fully enjoy the subtle references in this book.) I really appreciate that there aren’t any distracting typos or continuity errors. This entire series is top of the line. I like that it pressed some boundaries and challenged some traditional norms in this writing style, and while I’m sure that isn’t for everyone, in this instance, it was done really well. ... show more

  • The wildest of all the books.
Format: Kindle
I think this one was maybe the steamiest, book 3 is very close though. I love how all the characters had a role in this book but didn't take over or rule the storyline backwards. Our Omega had her time to shine and really grow.

  • Loved the whole series !!
Format: Kindle
This series was great. I always love another perspective on the shifter universe. This author has made this world beautiful, enraging, and full of characters that came alive on her pages. Thank you Heather for another great book. I can't wait to see what she brings next!

  • FANTASTIC!! A MUST READ!!
Format: Paperback
Absolutely phenomenal ending for this series!! Heather Carson you nailed it!! Opal has a different experience as most of the shifters and she should as she has different needs . When she suddenly locates and identifies she has two mates and then finds out they know AND don’t like each other , it is a serious challenge that could break Opal like a similar situation broke her mother . Omegas don’t have it easy . I loved the quick wit and snappy comebacks of these characters wolves had me laughing so many times out loud!! I highly recommend you take the dive into this 10 star book that is absolutely amazing and a must read!!! Loved this book and this whole series!!! ... show more

  • Another great read from Heather J. Carson
Format: Kindle
This book was a continuation of the great series that Heather has written for our enjoyment. Omega starts out as the other books in the series. It puts you in the same situation that you’re familiar with, a game show for television. Then WOW, does take a twist that you don’t see coming! I was surprised so much that I lost many hours at bedtime trying to read more chapters. Some characters you know from before, but boy are you in for a treat when you meet the new ones. This book is a hard to put down kind of read. I definitely recommend getting “Omega”. I loved it. ... show more
