I got this cost in black/Med I’m 5’6, 140 AOn first wearing, in 20 degree weather, I didn’t think it was dramatically warmer than my Columbia parka that was thinner and cheaper, but it was also very windy. When it wasn’t windy, it was warmer. I couldn’t find how to cinch the waist, but looking at a video I realized the cord to do that was in the pocket to make it seem a little less boxy. I did like the hood and that you can take off the fur because I’m not sure as it gets warmer I would want that part. I didn’t find the pockets to be lined, but they were roomy, and I appreciated the zipper and the inside pocket is not zippered, but you could put a phone in it.As long as you don’t toss the coat when you’re taking it off, it should be safe. I like the length and the double zipper. I also found in researching this jacket that older videos had aspects of the coat that it doesn’t have now, including fleece lined pockets and a zipper on the inside pocket. it’s just something to know if you are looking at past reviews that the style does change somewhat. I am going to keep it, but I can’t say I think it was worth the money entirely that I spent, and I think if you can get $100 off or more in a sale it would be a good purchase. ... show more

I purchased this coat 2 weeks ago. I payed for a women’s large north face coat and was delivered a girls large north face coat. I returned it within 20 minutes of the delivery and two weeks later I am still waiting for the $232.28 refund. North Face made a huge mistake in this transaction but is in no hurry to refund my money. I am very disappointed in this company. ... show more
