I bought this jacket for a Chicago trip knowing it was going to be chilly while up there. I bought this jacket in XL and it is a little snug when I zip up this jacket. It fits great everywhere else, but my tummy area, but I expect that because that’s where I carry most of my weight. Anyways, this jacket is great. It’s soft, it’s warm, I’ve washed it before and no shedding or pulling, nothing. I have a vest in this same style, but it runs larger and it’s XL too. So, I wish the sizing wasn’t inconsistent. I've needed a jacket for a while, and decided to finally bite the bullet and get this one. This has been on my list for a while, but I found it hard to justify a $100 price tag. That said, this jacket is much better than I was hoping. For starters, I'm 5'10", 126lbs, and I find it hard to find something (especially outerwear) that fits just right. I got a size medium and it fits wonderfully. The arms aren't as long as I'd like, but I have long arms so that's a me thing. It's so soft and warm, and it just looks and feels quality.     • Soft and warm but small issue with zippers

This was a little pricey (North Face always is) but it is soft, warm and cozy to wear. I’m 5’2” tall, 128 lbs and I got the medium. It’s a tiny bit long but otherwise fits well. I like things roomy and this jacket gives me room to move. However, the zippers are a bit of an issue. One pocket is missing the zipper pull cord so I’m often digging around to locate the zipper on that pocket. In addition, all of the zippers (main zipper and both pockets) constantly catch on the liner fabric which means I stand around fiddling to get the lining out of the zipper so the zipper will work. The one other thing that would be nice is to have an inside chest pocket - not critical but it would be nice. Generally a nice jacket but I’m not tempted to get another color. I got a similar jacket in another color at a big box store for a fraction of the cost. ... show more
