This is one nice executive tie, man! For the price, it's quite solid. I like the starched-type feel, and it makes a pretty good Windsor knot every time. And that color change you get on it from differing angles... man, the girls just LOVE it! LOL!!! For the same price, if not more, I've received other ties that have subpar quality where the 'silk' begins to loosen on the front and along the bottom edges (on each end), and it makes it look like the tie (in question) has grown a fuzzy beard, for lack of a better explanation. But not this one. It's holding on strong. I've got a habit of keeping my ties hanging up on a tie rack every time, and this one is straight forward. Oh. Full disclosure; I've not used the pocket square... I see no need for it yet. The only issue I have with it is that it holds on to grudges... (giggles)... as in my beard grease. Certain ties do better, but this one holds on to the concoction I've came up with on the knot and a bit below it. Nothing against the workmanship of the tie; it's second to none. And I can get most of the grease out with a warm iron and a dry (old) t-shirt, so that's that. 5 stars. I hope this review helps you in making your purchase. Have a wonderful day! (=

Ran into the same problem as with the green tie I ordered except this one was actually bigger/wider to fit around/under my 8 y/o's dress shirt collar. Definitely a teenager's or small man's sized tie. Non-prefab ties are not my thing, but my kid insisted on having a gold tie (he's flashy like that) and I couldn't seem to find a prefab one. I had to throw it in the trash almost immediately since I had a bad nail which snagged and ruined the material while trying to form the tie. UGH. Nice quality though and more of light gold color.
