This vest is really a cute accessory. It's the perfect thickness to add a bit of warmth under a coat on cold days but thin enough to be able to leave on indoors to complete your outfit. Impeccable quality. I am 5'3" and it hits me on the hip. Perfect - love it!

I don't usually like wearing puffers due to the sheer bulky awkwardness of them, but this one is exactly the right amount of puffy for me. Warm and cute. The price was steep but I am confident it's going to get years of use, and I appreciate that North Face recycles their items when it's reached the end of its usefulness (fingers crossed that program still exists when I'm done with this vest) ... show more

Love this vest! Great add to any fall or winter outfit. Simple. Ive paired mine with a light weight sweater in 40 degree weather (November), and I’ve kept warm. I live in the PNW, so the air is quite brisk this time of year. The only CON, the zipper isn’t the best. The side pockets move like butter, but the front zip takes some effort, has been caught a few times and takes two hands to move. Might loosen with wear? I’m 5’7, 135, even upper to lower torso (top half is same length as bottom) and this comes to my hips. The armpits have room to move and isn’t restricting but not loose to where it looks “gappy” when on. I purchased a MEDIUM, black. Love the high neck when fully zipped, the material that wraps the inside of the neck is very warm! I thought due to the material it would get matted after a wash and dry but it did not. Wore this the first day in light rain and it repealed quite nice. Overall, great buy, worth the price. Northface never disappoints in quality. ... show more
