Love this vest! Great add to any fall or winter outfit. Simple. Ive paired mine with a light weight sweater in 40 degree weather (November), and I’ve kept warm. I live in the PNW, so the air is quite brisk this time of year. The only CON, the zipper isn’t the best. The side pockets move like butter, but the front zip takes some effort, has been caught a few times and takes two hands to move. Might loosen with wear? I’m 5’7, 135, even upper to lower torso (top half is same length as bottom) and this comes to my hips. The armpits have room to move and isn’t restricting but not loose to where it looks “gappy” when on. I purchased a MEDIUM, black. Love the high neck when fully zipped, the material that wraps the inside of the neck is very warm! I thought due to the material it would get matted after a wash and dry but it did not. Wore this the first day in light rain and it repealed quite nice. Overall, great buy, worth the price. Northface never disappoints in quality. ... show more

I purchased this last minute for a work trip to a Chicago. It hadn’t gotten chilly in St Louis yet and it wasn’t cold enough in Chicago for my heavier, longer vest. This came in a couple of days and was a perfect fit. I’m a plus size 20-ish and I’m also short waisted, hourglass, wide hips. This vest is considered to be cropped so it works well for my shape. It sits above my hips. The 3x is great, roomy and zips fine. I run around airports all day, and worked at MDW and ORD.
