I needed a coat that I could walk my dogs in, and happened to come across this North Face coat that was on sale. I weigh 170 pounds and am 5’5” with a DDD chest and large stomach and thighs, but have an athletic build. Since I prefer my coats to be larger to accommodate sweaters, I ordered an XL and L. The L fit great and still had plenty of room. I also liked the color more than expected. The coat is very warm (it’s 25 degrees today), and the hood fully encompassed my neck and head area. The length hit my mid thigh, again with lots of room still to move around. Though I was looking for a casual coat, this coat is of high quality and very stylish. Though the price was a bit more than I wanted to spend on a secondary, more causal coat, it was a great price for a North Face jacket. Definitely a great buy. ... show more

I had a North Face jacket over a decade ago that I wore to the very last thread. I’ve been trying to replace it and have been unlucky until this one. It’s warm, the hood is attached (first to go on my last jacket was the snaps so the hood came off too easily), you can cinch in the waist for a flattering look, and the front pockets add some cuteness and are more functional than inside pockets, in my opinion. Wore the jacket in a wet heavy snow storm and kept me dry. Fits true to size. Lastly, I don’t have any feathers poking out which is pretty common and annoying when you get a down jacket. I LOVE this coat! It’s fluffy and soft and cozy and warm. The fit is more feminine than boxy just like I prefer. Looks great on me. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. Great value for the quality! Highly recommend!

Bought this for our Thanksgiving Germany Christmas Market Vacation. It was raining, snowing, and cold. However, this light coat kept me warm and dry. I highly recommend this coat. Loved that it is light and not heavy.
