This jacket is great for the beach, where is can be windy and cold, but not raining, and daily wear when its not raining hard. It is very water resistant, but live in Oregon and need a hood in our downpours. That said, I love this jacket and I wear it all the time. It is warm but can be made warmer by layering. I like the slim design and warmth without bulk! I think it looks good. It feels very comfortable. It isn't cheap but it lasts. It is easy to clean. I can just spray off the jacket when accidents happen. It is easily machine washed too. Really, just a great jacket I don't want to live without.

This jacket is everything I wanted—softshell warmth, wind resistance, and comfy stretch—without feeling bulky. Zippers are smooth, pockets are roomy, and it layers easily over a tee or lightweight hoodie. Most important: I’m thrilled they expanded into plus sizes. The cut feels thoughtfully designed (no weird pulling at the chest, good hip room, sleeves long enough). I feel comfortable and put together. If you’ve been waiting for a quality softshell in inclusive sizing, this is it. I actually had this same north face jacket / style with my precious jacket, but I lost a lot of weight and needed a smaller size (not a bad problem to me!!) I bought 2 different styles on the north face website, but couldn’t find my exact replacement. Then went to the north face store and asked the associates, but still no luck. So finally, I kept searching online was able to find this one on Amazon, so happy!! It has a really nice fit. It’s heavy duty and waterproof. By the way I’ve tested plenty of times and it is sturdy yet. Also lightweight and it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a huge jacket but it’s very durable. I’m really happy overall with the price because I think it’s the same as I paid quite a few years ago and I don’t have complaints about that to me. It’s definitely worth it, I hope you enjoy yours!

North Face tops don't shrink but they do run a tiny, little bit small. I'm a Large or Extra Large in tops (I'm busty). The XXL fits great. It a comfy breathable shirt, perfect for fall weather.

This lightweight, wind resistant jacket keeps me comfortably warm on cool, breezy days. It's water repellent so it helps keep me dry, too. It's stylish, yet casual, so I can wear it with shorts, leggings, jeans, joggers, or casual skirts. It fits true to size and is of good quality that The North Face is known for. The only things I don't like about it are that it's hand wash only and the collar doesn't lay flat so it pokes my neck and jaw. If it weren't for those 2 things, I'd buy it again.
