I bought this jacket years ago and adored it so much I pretty much wore it out. But I bought my usual size and it was justtttt a bit too snug, but nothing I was willing to stop wearing it for. When it was time to buy a new jacket I was happy to go to this one again, but I sized up and have been much happier. Keeps me warm and dry whenever I am in sub 40 temperatures, which is pretty much my world from November-February so this jacket will get a ton of use which makes the higher $$$ totally worth it.

Extremely thin for what you would believe the price should reflect. This is not a frigid winter coat rather an early winter quote. Also, the logo is screen printed instead of threaded, which seemed cheap to me. It seems like this should be a $100 coat, not a $250 coat.

I just received it today . It’s a nice coat, very light weight and seems well put together and durable. I must say that it does run small. I read the reviews before buying so I ordered an XL. I am 5”10 and weigh about 153lbs and have long arms. It fits ok but sleeves a bit short and coat a bit snug.. I would have done much better with a size larger… more roomy with longer sleeves I imagine. Haven’t tried it with bulky sweaters yet but sure it will be tight. Hopefully it will be warm enough without needing them. Inside pockets not hemmed at the bottom are useless and ridiculous . Coat pockets are deep though and have zippers.

Based on the reviews, they suggested to size up so instead of ordering my normal XL I ordered 2XL. It fits perfect. This is a quality coat, well made and fits perfect. Not high quality for Northface. Thin plastic zipper. No inside pockets. Also runs a bit small. Amazon description misleading. This is Not 600 fill down. It’s 600 fill down/polyester blend Disappointed all around.
