Robust water resistant design is IP 65 making it versatile for virtually any charging application. Concealed mounting holes allow the pros port 1.5 to be installed on-board or to be used as a portable, with rear die cut foam resting pad. Ring terminal and DC clamp quick connect cable assemblies included. Our marine grade design is weatherproof, water resistant to IP 65 and can be used in all fresh and salt water outdoor and indoor applications as needed. Designed to keep 12 volt batteries fully Charged during short or long term storage periods, prosport's energy Saver mode will monitor and auto maintain a battery when needed to maintain a full state of Charge. This charger was installed on my dump trailer from the factory but stopped working within about two months from purchase. I contacted the charger’s manufacturer as well as the trailer manufacturer and they would both replace it under warranty. But, in both cases, I would have to either mail it to them or bring the whole trailer in and wait.     • Very well made marine charger/maintainer -- highly recommended!
I've got these units on our family's sailboats to keep the starter batteries charged and they work extremely well. Unlike the house batteries that get more use, you don't need a high amp unit to keep starters charged as the alternator will top off the starter battery when you run the engine. And you don't get the problem of the high amp chargers boiling out the batteries. I've used cheaper charger/maintainers but they don't have the great marine quality cables and housing that these units have. We've tested these units and they all follow the right charging protocol to make sure batteries are charged right. I highly recommend these units as you don't pay that much more to get great quality. ... show more

I’ve used this brand at a previous job several times a week. In the 250+ of this brand I’ve installed I’ve yet to see one fail!! This is a trickle charger for my trailer but if you get the correct “Bank” set up you’ll love it!! Instant on when plugged in no buttons to push etc. 3 batteries in your boat..... get a 3 bank etc. Tough and reliable ... show more

    • Worst customer service!
I purchased this item February 2020. A year to the day was getting my boat ready for fishing/boating season. I kept the charger under my boat cover all winter long. This charger was plugged in all winter. I went to turn my graphs on and update the software. I noticed my graphs were not turning on. I looked at the charger and noticed the lights were not on. I tried plugging the charger into another source and still no luck. I pulled the battery out and noticed the battery sides were bulged out. I spoke with a few battery professionals and they all said my battery was over charged. I called the company and was informed they would look at the charger but I would have to pay the shipping and handling...... this is a charger that was exactly a year old. I was not happy about having to pay $16 to ship this back to them. I then asked what they were going to do about my battery that their device ruined I was basically told that was not their problem. I have never been treated do bad by a company. Not to mention the first lady I talked to at the company acted like this charger failing is a common issue. I will NEVER EVER spend another dime on a ProMariner item again. ... show more

Bought this to charge two 12V 7 Amp Rechargeable Lead Acid Batteries that I use for kayak fishing. This unit does the job and comes with a variety of connector for both permanent mounting or portable use. I really appreciate the reverse polarity protection.
