Aside from the quality that other reviewers here already mentioned, I'm going to add that I am 4'11" 92lbs and it never happened to me getting a regular size clothing fits me perfectly unless it is from Petite clothing. This one does and it gave me such a nice surprise it got me thinking it could be one with a flaw. I have a preference of loose clothing in warmer days for more cool and airy, and snug clothing in colder days for more warmth. So I was always in a search for a snug fitting vest or short jacket and I always resort to wearing kids clothing M or L size half zipped because they gave me snug fit in my waist but too tight to zip to my bust. This Aconcagua II vest is like never before, arm hole opening is perfect and fitted (not gaping like most), bust, waist and hip area fall exactly where they are like it was tailored for me, fit close to body but nicely snug with sweater underneath. I am not a fan of feather fills and mine already has a few sticking out, I wonder if anyone has the same problem with this. But definitely will keep this as it feels good and it makes me look good!!

Comfortable. Feels like any other vest you would purchase. I thought it would have been like leather, but it was a regular black vest. It looks nice and doesn’t look cheap. Very durable.

Vest is just as described. Warm yet not overly big so my 16 yr old doesn't worry about lugging it around school all day. She loved it and a medium was perfect for her 5'7 120lb frame. 7

I've worn this jacket way more than I anticipated and have really liked it! Fits true to size, and looks and feels great on. Has held up nicely through a few washes. The only reason for not giving 5 stars, is I've noticed quite a few feathers that hove come out of the vest. Fingers crossed it doesn't turn into a problem!

This is for me the perfect vest. I originally ordered a small (my usual size) but it was tight. So I returned that and ordered the medium which fits perfectly. The quality and style are fantastic. It's not too shiny which I like...It's exactly what I wanted (after searching for months online)... One note: Amazon was able to supply this vest. I'd originally ordered it directly from Northface but after confirming my order they apologized that they were out of stock. Glad that I pushed through my disappointment and checked on Amazon. It ended up being about $15 more than the one advertised on Northface, but it was worth it. Very happy with this purchase.

This purple is GORGEOUS! It has a light iridescent to it. The coordinating green matches well. This particular style is straight cut and not form fitting at the waist. It keeps me warm for sure. I'm 5', 115 pounds and a medium is big enough for a sweater to fit well underneath.
