While some may consider this a jacket, I look at it as either a shirt or an extra layer. This functionality adds value to the product. Regardless, this is a soft, warm and truly comfortable top that is a new go-to item in my wardrobe. North Face is known for producing quality items that provide comfort and style. This quarter-zip top lives up to the promise of the brand. The jacket fits well based upon sizing. It's machine washable, which is a plus for convenience and care. The color is basically true to the swatch in the description. The attention to detail in the jacket's design implies durability. The zippered pocket in the left chest area is interesting... rather than a traditional pocket, this opens on the side. The pocket is great for a phone but be aware it must be zipped while in use. The use of recycled materials in the construction of the product is a plus for the environmentally conscious. My only potential "negative" about the product is the price: it's costly enough that I suspect it will deter many buyers. ... show more
