Purchased an XL ( I'm 5'9, 200lbs ) and it fit "okay" -- the sleeves were a bit long and shoulders too wide. I would say get an L if you're similar to my size. Otherwise the jacket is pretty decent for the price. It's comfortable, well made, the only knock i would give it is the interior materials feel very thin. The liner would probably rip if you hung the coat on something and it slide off or caught a hook/edge etc. It's warm enough but i did end up returning it and buying a columbia jacket. simply because I wanted a ski coat that would last long term and I felt this would probably fall apart after a season or two of use. If you're in a pinch and need a simple winter coat you really cant go wrong buying this. ... show more

I bought this jacket (paid $30) as an extra for when we have company and want to go snowmobiling. I bought the men’s L figuring it was the most average size to have for a spare jacket. The color blue is good, there are tons of pockets, most with zippers that are nice and the extra ribbed cuff is soft against the skin. It is generously cut so I see no need to size up, even for a sweater underneath. Here’s what I do not like. I do not like the plasticky lining, the only description I can give is black garbage bag, same feel and look. It lines the jacket as well as the hood so I feel like you would have to wear a beanie under the hood otherwise your head will constantly be cold against that lining. It was also clearly a return. You can tell by how it was jammed into the plastic bag and taped shut. It doesn’t appear dirty and the tags are still on, but clearly a return stuffed into a bag. For the $30 I paid, I will most likely keep it. It is simply a spare jacket if needed so it will suffice. My husband said if it were for him and going to be an everyday jacket, it was only okay, not great, not the worst, but he would find something else. For a spare it’s decent. ... show more
