It has ample pocket space, and the faux fur ruff is easily removable if it's really wet and nasty out. I got the size large, and it seems like it's running a bit big, but that just means you can add layera underneath so you can really sweat to get rid of some water weight. Spent months looking for a jacket that is insulated and water proof. This one is perfect. I saw reviews that mentioned issues with velcro but, miracle of miracles, North Face must've listened, because there's no velcro to be found. On top of that, the color of the actual jacket is, in my opinion, much more appealing than in the pictures. I have owned some very expensive heavy arctic type coats before but this thing is insanely warm and looks really great as well. Love Love this coat! Highly recommend! And you definitely can't go wrong with the name brand either.

my son loves it . we did think that it had a removable layer but it does not . He is asking for just a simple puffer to pack in back pack. this one is too bulky for that but very warm for cold weather . looks very nice and fur trim is removable.

The Large jacket fits to size but doesn’t feel warm enough. My last North Face jacket I bought four years ago was an Extra Large so I could wear an inner jacket for extra warmth. I found out later that I actually bought the wrong jacket. I wanted the North Face Parka not the North Face Bomber

Big and heavy duty jacket. Very warm. Just too big for my son. Had to return it. Will definitely keep the cold and wind out. The green is pretty bright. The kids green is more olive and subdued. This one is more bright and pops, if that’s the look you are looking for. Pretty heavy, as it has down in it as well, but not too heavy to make it uncomfortable. Not sure about the $380 price tag though. I would imagine $200 of that is the name brand. ... show more
