The coat is lightweight and warmer on a cold windy day than I thought it would be when I opened the package.. I looked at it and thought "what the hell". But It's actually warm--HOWEVER, it's no down parka. When it gets below freezing, it isn't warm enough. At 25º or so, it just isn't much good. It's a good mid-temperature winter coat. Super nice fit. I’m 5/9 170 pounds and a medium fit me well worth the cash. It’s light weight and wind and water proof. Only downside is no inside pockets.

This is a very nice, lightweight and warm coat. My only nit is that it's not quite as warm as I expected. But it's smaller and lighter than most coats in this category, so I can't be too surprised. Overall, good purchase.

I love this jacket. I live in Los Angeles and we are having as cold as a winter gets here with lows in the upper 30s and highs in the upper 50s. In the cold rain, this jacket has been perfect. During cold mornings, it’s kept me as warm as I need to be. My one criticism…IT’S TOO WARM! This jacket is more suited for the snow and Midwest/East Coast weather. I’m glad to have it in my arsenal. But know that if you order it, and you’re on the West Coast, it’s suited for days in the snowy mountains and a bit overkill for climates that don’t experience harsh winters. I normally wear large in North Face and the fit is spot on. It’s a quality, lightweight jacket and it looks awesome. Just know that it is extremely insulated. ... show more

It arrived late and we couldn’t use it! But we tried it on later to see if we want to keep it or not but it wasn’t warm even for the south! You can find a better deal and warmer from the store!
