I got this backpack for work, because I would end up lugging a lot of things around in several bags, and it was just inconvenient. I find the backpack to be really functional. I especially like that there are two side pockets - one for my water, and the other for my coffee tumbler. The laptop compartment is secure, and the front pocket also provides an easy to access compartment for all my small items. Also the cords at the front are unexpectedly useful for anything that won't fit in the main compartment - I use them for my jacket, but they will secure any bulky lightish object (think bike helmet, maybe even a skateboard). The capacity is great. I can carry a laptop, ipad, book, lunch, hoodie, headphones and electronics case, jacket, water bottle and tumbler and still have room to spare and my hands free. AND it looks nice (mine is olive green), but you already knew that :) ... show more

All right so I first like to say, I was highly influenced by this backpack for high school (freshman year) many people said this backpack was perfect so I decided to give it a go. The reviews on this definitely don't match up to my experience. It works really well, holds a lot and is very good quality. The color is just beautiful and it ACTUALLY holds my water bottle in the side pocket, as most backpacks that I've had don't. So initial review amazing, but I would like to add that the very front pocket is not as deep as the back pocket it's only about halfway and so when propped up it kind of slouches over and it looks really weird. So if there's anything to complain about I think it would be the space there is in the front pocket which isn't much. In result I'd like to just say that this backpack is amazing. So if you're looking for something to last you a long time, as I plan on using this for my whole high School experience, then this is the backpack for you!! XOXO -ada ... show more
