I love my new coat! I live in the Carolinas so I don’t need anything too warm but we do have rainy winters and springs. Been wearing this with the puffer zipped in for a few weeks and loving how I don’t need to worry about switching coats out based on their material or thickness. This one is the perfect universal coat! The hood is great for the rain and the outer shell is truly waterproof. We were at a bbq festival in the November cold rain for hours and I was warm and dry. Zippers are smooth. I went up a size for room for sweaters and other layers and it’s not bulky looking which is nice. I think for spring I’ll remove the puffer coat and use as a rain coat.

Fits me great. Northface tends to run a size small for me so I bought an XXL which was a good call. Wouldn’t say it’s the warmest jacket but it’s been great for me in 40-50 degree North East weather. You might be a little chilly in anything under 40 degrees if you’re not layered up. It’s lightweight and not bulky which I like for long car rides to and from work. The inner lining can be removed and put back in very easily. An overall good buy.

I bought the coat specifically for a vacation in Iceland, and it was a good choice. Lots of pockets, not too bulky. The inner jacket was good on the cool days, and attacking it back into the outer coat made it toasty warm on the cold days. (Me and my coat are on the right in the pic.)

I bought this coat to replace a Northface 3-in-1 parka hydra-vent from 2016 that I wore through the late fall to early spring. I appreciate the versatility with the 3-n-1 so I jumped on this one when it went on sale. I like this coat, but there are a couple of things I wish were better. I noticed right away that it not very warm although it does block the wind and works well in light rain. I live in the Northeast so I will need to either layer in 20 degrees and below, or look for a warmer option. I also wish it had an additional front “hidden” pocket and was a little longer like my last Northface. Overall, it fits well and makes a good transitional jacket in the early spring and late fall. For reference, I am 5’3” and about 160 pounds and ordered the XL so I can layer.

I was an avid wearer of another popular brand that starts with a C but decided to try out this one. Not knowing their sizing, I tried to go by the size chart the best I could. I'm 5'3", 230 lbs (mostly proportionate), I ordered the XXL and it fit PERFECTLY! I got the Wild Ginger color and it's like a deep mauve color or like a dusty rose color. So pretty in person! Hoping it holds up (and I'll update this review if not) because the first impressions are great!

This is a great quality jacket. The puffy down liner and the shell can be worn separately or zipped together for max warmth and waterproof protection. So versatile and comfortable. Not cheap, but the quality and durability make it a good value. If you prefer to be cold and wet, then this jacket is not for you 😁

Bought this jacket for a New England trip this fall. It was exactly what I needed. I loved the option to layer, or use only the inner or outer shell of the jacket. It is perfect for a wet/windy chilly day. Not designed for really cold weather. I add a fleece jacket under the outer layer of the jacket for extra warmth if necessary. I love this coat! It has become my go to jacket on drizzly, windy days. The two jackets zip together very easily. The inner jacket is light, just enough to give you a little warmth. Also, love the color. Highly recommend!
