I’m pretty small and a lot of laptop backpacks just look ridiculous on me so I wasn’t super optimistic about this bag, but I have to say this might be one of my favorite bags I’ve ever purchased of any kind (I own A LOT of bags.) I was sent out of state for work for two months and used this as my travel bag and then everyday work bag, and so far it’s held up beautifully. The bag feels sturdy and looks attractive. Fits my MacBook perfectly with plenty of additional space for chargers, adapters books, change of clothes, etc. It’s got just the right amount of pockets and zippered pouches for me (I’m not someone who needs a whole pouch for organizing individual pens) and the side pockets are wide enough to fight an extra large water bottle. When I was contemplating this purchase some of the reviews mentioned that the bag was not really usable as a backpack. This was not an issue for me and I actually use it primarily as a backpack—but again, I am pretty small, and I could see how for a larger/taller person the straps would be too short and tight. But if you’re on the small side and looking for a great travel or commuter bag, I highly recommend giving this one a try. ... show more

I had hoped for something cute, well made and convertible to use as a work bag. I would say this hits the mark on those with the unexpected factor of it being really uncomfortable when wearing it as a backpack. Especially if you have a larger laptop in the laptop storage spot. The plastic threads that the convertible straps slide through dig into the shoulders fairly harshly and there's barely enough space to actually put arms if your above a size 12. The straps should be adjustable, which would be super easy to do, and the plastic threads could easily be a reinforced fabric as well. I'm going to keep it and use it, thankfully it's not being used for long periods as a backpack, so I think I'll survive. Though my arms are starting to lose circulation and I've only been wearing 5 min, so maybe I'll rethink keeping it afterall... ... show more
