This is such a fun and beautiful set!!! It's even more beautiful in person than in the picture, just as bright, but truly able to appreciate in person. I purchased it for my preteen daughter who loves animals and art. She's not so much into pink now, but she still loves the set. The set is made very well, with very durable and soft materials. Unfortunately, I had to throw the comforter away, because she got bed bugs and the comforter was already all clumpy from me not caring for it properly. I washed it on a regular cold cycle and dried it as I would anything else. I knew better but did it anyway out of just needing to get it done. So, if you want it to stay nice and smooth and pretty, follow the washing instructions. However, the colors never faded and she had it for over three years. I have a Queen size bed but ordered a King size based on reviews about the size running small. The King fits my Queen bed just how I like it- it drapes enough on both sides and the end to cover the mattress. It’s design is true to the picture although I find the teal to be brighter than it looks on the computer image which works fine for me. The fabric is soft but has a slight plasticky feel to it (if that makes sense). It’s not uncomfortable or anything but just feels a little odd to me. I washed it before I put it on my bed but it didn’t make a difference in the texture. It held up to its first washing just fine. It does have some stitching in weird places like other reviewers mentioned but you can’t really tell it’s there unless you’re looking for it. ... show more

This comforter set is down right smashing! I live in a cold weather climate and it is very warm. Also, it is so soft and comfy I'm excited to hit the sack every night. The colors are beautiful, especially if you love turquoise like me! The pattern isn't faded or weird it's exactly as seen in the picture. I also have cats, all whom sleep with me at night and I have yet to see a snag and it isn't a fur magnet like other comforters I've had. A beautiful accent pillow comes with it and absolutely is the cherry on top! Both my daughter and I loved this comforter bed set. It is soft, bright and lit up her new room. The only thing that would make this set better is if it actually came with a fitted bedsheet. Just note that the picture shows two pillowcases but it only comes with one. The accent pillow is super cute and small. I read previous reviews before I purchased it and I was a little worried about buying the set since they say it's not exactly hot pink. I am glad I took the chance because I did have a fitted bedsheet that is hot pink silk that blended well with it. I also found several items on Amazon to match the zebra print and pink without any problems. This design inspired me use this colors and theme for my daughter's birthday party.
