This jacket is warm considering that it's very light in weight. The main reason that I gave this a 5 ⭐ review even though there are some features I don't prefer is because it's not bulky like my thicker Carhartt work jackets and it allows me to move freely with greater movement while working. I do have to admit that I had to get used to the look as far as I usually always wear work wear type brands while building fences. I didn't deduct any ⭐ but since I use this while working the cuff design isn't really comfortable, as a long tighter elastic cuff is preferred (especially for safety when working with circular saws, nail guns, hammer, etc is a must). However, when I choose to wear this jacket I usually roll and tuck the sleeves up so there is less of a chance that any clothing gets caught or snagged in a tool. This jacket is pricey though in my opinion for the quality. I usually don't wear gray color clothes but I guess its good to change it up sometimes and grey matches with a lot of my other clothes that don't have to do with work. I usually wear a medium but large fit me fine. I do have long arms and torso though.

This jacket is so awesome and I cannot wait to wear it this winter! I ordered it for my husband, but the color is beautiful and I know I will be wearing it often since it is so nice and oversized and puffy! It is stuffed so well and will keep us very warm in the winter - even in snow conditions. The pockets are nice and deep and the texture inside and outside of the jacket is so soft and smooth. It can be worn either dressed up or down - will look great with anything really! The zipper is so well constructed and so is just the overall of the jacket, which is known of the North Face brand. I am very pleased with my order and would order more North Face products in the future!

This is a really nice jacket and I'm very happy with it so far. It fits as expected and has a comfortable, flattering fit without feeling overly bulky. The materials feel high quality, and the jacket has a nice, polished look that makes it easy to wear casually or for outdoor activities. It also does a good job with light moisture. The outer material has some water resistance, so light rain and snow should bead up rather than immediately soaking through. I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a dedicated waterproof shell, but the water resistance is a nice feature for everyday winter weather. The jacket feels surprisingly warm without being excessively heavy. Since it's currently summer, I haven't had a chance to test it in truly cold winter temperatures yet, so I can't say how it will perform during the coldest part of the season. Based on how substantial and insulated it feels, though, I'm optimistic that it will keep me comfortable in colder weather. Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality, fit, warmth, and appearance. It feels like a well-made jacket that should hold up well with regular use, and I'm looking forward to actually putting it through a Michigan winter.

I ordered this jacket for my husband, and I’m very happy with it. It has the quality I expect from The North Face and provides plenty of warmth without feeling overly heavy or bulky. This is a great jacket from a brand everyone trusts. It fits well and keeps me warm without looking overly puffy. I like the clean shape and the Stone Slab color looks good in person. I own many different North Face products, and this jacket material has to be my favourite. The jacket is extremely warm, yet only weighs a few ounces, and compresses into a small ball when flattened out or vacuum sealed in a storage bag. Some key features that really seem to stick out when I put on the jacket are: the fit is perfect and true to the sizing chart - though the sizing accounts for a sweater or thick material worn underneath it, the material is very smooth and easy to spot clean, and the zippers are high quality. The pockets on either side, also have closing zippers that are hidden, yet don't interfere if you wear gloves and put your hands in the pockets. The vest length is also designed for taller guys, who like the material to fall below their hips. The other great feature is how stain resistant the material is and easy it is to wash on cold, yet still clean the material, exceptionally. Overall, the cost is very high, but, all my North Face clothing is still going strong years later. The stone slab colour is a little darker than what is pictured, but is still beautiful, and even looks better than the online ad.

This is a high-quality product as you’d expect from Northface. The material is very nice, the design is crisp and clean, and the stitching is perfect. This is not a light, fall weather jacket, it is more appropriate for winter weather in my opinion. I think it would be best for casual use and light recreational activity. It is very warm and well insulated. I got a size large, which is appropriate for me through the chest and shoulders. I wear a size 16 1/2 34 in a dress shirt. The advertised sleeve length for this jacket is a 34.8. So as expected, the sleeves are a little long on me. This is the one disappointment with this jacket. The design of the sleeve does not accommodate much variation in arm length so the sleeves just hang there a little lower than my wrist. Overall, I think this is a fair value for the money, if the buyer places a high value on the brand and logo.
