  • Love this book!
A great book for a cancer journey and people that like to cook. Recipes we have tried so far have been delicious, and we willmake them alot! Book would be great for someone going thru chemo,as it breaks recipes down by symptoms you may be having, which allows that person to get the proper nutrients they need when not feeling g so great! • So far have loved every recipe
I think I bought this book because of the picture of the Creamy Tomato Soup on the cover. I haven't made that one yet, but those that I have made have been wonderful (Broccoli Coconut Soup, Healthy Ramen,. I really appreciate good photos in a cookbook--they are enticing and informative--and this one does not disappoint. FYI, I eat a plant-based diet, and although this has a handful of recipes that use chicken, fish, eggs, etc., most of them are entirely plant-based (coconut milk in creamed soups). I'm not currently cooking for anyone with a cancer diagnosis, but of course, you don't have to have a diagnosis to appreciate nurturing, delicious food. ... show more

  • Beautifully written & photographed
Wow, I love this cookbook. It's full of such helpful information about how to heal through food, and is written in a calm, inspiring way. I bought one for someone in my life who is dealing with cancer, and one for me, too, because the recipes looked so appealing. The photos are beautiful, too... it's almost like a photo journal, for healing foods! Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Really impressed
I’ve been plant based for 20 years and when my mom was diagnosed with cancer I was putting together a little care package for her. That’s how I stumbled upon this book! I’m so impressed with the creative (mostly vegan) recipes and love the icon categorization for weight gain, nausea relief, etc. My very health conscious aunt flipped through the book at my moms and was so impressed she bought herself a copy too despite not having a cancer diagnosis. ... show more
