  • A superb help on the road no one wants to travel
Format: Paperback
Wow!!! I just can’t express how much this book helped me help my son through his journey with head and neck cancer!!! Through learning about cancer, what to eat, beneficial foods and meals that helped through each side effect of surgery, chemo and radiation. It is written extremely warm and comforting. The meals also are so delicious!!! I show this book to everyone and many have ordered it as well after tasting some of the dinners. It’s rare to find a cookbook this well written with beautiful pictures and one that is so very sincerely concerned with cancer patients. It allowed me to help my son when there was literally nothing else I could do. Just can’t say enough good! Great work!! Thank you!!! ... show more

  • So far have loved every recipe
Format: Paperback
I think I bought this book because of the picture of the Creamy Tomato Soup on the cover. I haven't made that one yet, but those that I have made have been wonderful (Broccoli Coconut Soup, Healthy Ramen,. I really appreciate good photos in a cookbook--they are enticing and informative--and this one does not disappoint. FYI, I eat a plant-based diet, and although this has a handful of recipes that use chicken, fish, eggs, etc., most of them are entirely plant-based (coconut milk in creamed soups). I'm not currently cooking for anyone with a cancer diagnosis, but of course, you don't have to have a diagnosis to appreciate nurturing, delicious food. ... show more
