I love this cleansing balm! I have sensitive and acne prone skin and it is gentle and does not cause me to breakout, I think my skin has actually gotten better since using it. You can get a little bit of a lather when you add a little water and does well removing makeup, even mascara. My only complaint is that it makes my contacts very cloudy if it gets in my eyes and it's hard to clean it off of them, I haven't had that experience with any other cleaning balm I have tried. I bought this product hoping to use it at as a first cleanse, which I really like it for! It is super thick, so you have to shake the bottle to get it to come out without the product separating, but it goes on smooth and feels nice. It seems to really clean my skin though it does feel like there is some residue or oil left on my skin after I rinse it off, hence the need for the second cleanse. Though I don't wear much makeup I do use sunscreen very diligently. This effortlessly takes off the layers of sunscreen and whatever like make up I apply in less than a minute. It doesn't burn my eyes and that is definitely an advantage!

Pretty good! I shake it once in a while cuz sometimes it separates. The only thing this has some trouble removing is my maybelline superstay vinyl lipsticks - even then, you just need to use some more product and rub it in a lot. Particularly a good amount of product for the price

I would categorize this as more of an cleansing oil than balm. The reason being is that it does not emulsify like a cleansing balm does. It takes a little more effort to rinse the oil off before using your next cleanser. It removes makeup just fine and doesn't irritate my skin or make me breakout. It has no scent which is nice.
