I got the black capris style in XL and am super pleased so far! They are stretchy but still do a nice job of tucking in my stomach a bit almost like shapewear would and still really comfortable and suprisingly breathable. This was a total gamble that paid off… I’m going to order 2 more in different colors now. I love the pockets too which are impressively snug and fit my iPhone 13 mini perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I don’t love how the seam on the sides of the legs is. It’s somewhat to the front of your leg and I keep feeling like my pants are crooked and I need to adjust/align the seam with the side of my leg. Probably not a deal breaker for most tho! Edit: it’s 7/19 and I have 4 pairs of these now so I obviously love them *but* I will say they are unfortunately not all consistent! My fav fit is the ink grey, which is more of a light lavender with silver to me. They are lightweight and really flattering and stretchy. I have black, black/grey marble, and olive green also. The marble patterned ones fit like a different brand altogether than the rest and are more sheen. I checked today and noticed that the black/marble have a slightly different fabric blend vs the 3 others and makes sense why they fit and feel differently! They are polyester and spandex vs the other 3 I really like that are polyamide (nylon) and spandex. I returned the black/marble because they are so unlike the others. The bummer is, they are all listed the same in the Amazon description. I want to order a few more colors but I will just keep returning them if they are the polyester blend.

Because I’m old AF, Activewear really isn’t my jam. I prefer a more classic look for every day. However two life events took place that made me change my mind. The first was a 17-pound Pandemic weight gain. If I had a dollar for every bag of tortilla chips I consumed during the last six months, I would be able to afford to move back to NYC! And not have to work! The second event was cataract surgery ( and yes-when you get old it’ll happen to you!). Forgetting about the impact this pandemic has in connection on healthcare, I recently had the first of two cataract surgeries. Dopey me. I wore a little black dress thinking I would have to change in a hospital gown. Instead, I had to wear my lbd during surgery! Not wanting to expose my gorgeous panties or worse, a blanket was placed over me. Needless to say my thoughts were “NFW am I wearing a dress to my next surgery”. And so, I let my fingers do the walking over to Amazon! And I found these leggings/ pants/ activewear thingies. Oh am I thrilled with them! Regardless of my expanding hips, thighs and gut, I went with the Medium. At 5’6” and 157 lbs, the fit is fabulous! My gut is sucked in and the high waist is super Post-menopause friendly! I’ll admit, these could be a tad longer in the leg but it isn’t a deal-breaker! The fabric is thick and opaque so you can keep transparency for your personality rather than what you’re wearing! And these have pockets!! Holy Cannoli! Pockets! When I go back for my second cataract surgery, I can slide my insurance cards and IDin one pocket and my cell phone in the other! This is epic as purses aren’t allowed at the surgical center! Who knew that this activewear would come in handy as surgical attire? And I can work out too! Well, I’m lazy so let’s just say I can walk my dog in these pants! The price is right, the fit is flattering and fabulous Nd I need another pair! These are great! I’m very pleased! I love these leggings because they fit well and are great quality for the price. I bought the ink grey color to match the women’s longline sports bra, also from the gym people, in ink grey. As you can see in the photo, the colors are not the same, and the fabrics are different. The bra is thinner and silkier than the fabric of the leggings. For comparison, I also bought these leggings in charcoal grey with a charcoal gray women’s longline bra. For the charcoal grey top & bottom, the colors match and the fabrics are the same. Out of all four pieces, the fabric of the ink grey leggings is the one that does not match the others. So be aware that choosing the same color name as another item from this brand may not yield a true match. Also, the fabric of these leggings is not the same across all colors. That being said, I kept my items and wear them routinely to Pilates and elsewhere as athleisure because I still really like them in spite of the color/fabric not meeting my expectation for a matching outfit.

I got these for the pocket! Running and trying to hold these massive phones is for the birds. I was going to buy an arm band but found these instead. For that purpose, they are great! iPhone 13? Pro max fit the pocket and did not pull the leggings down while running. The material is not the buttery soft material it feels more like a cotton tshirt to me or like a denim jegging maybe. I don’t love that it has a thin band at the waist because it cuts into me (still squishy from having 3 kids) but I know if I went a size up they’d be way too big because these felt a little loose everywhere else but that band. I’m on my hot mom journey so to find decent leggings for a great price while I’m still working on it is great. I’d buy again to avoid spending too much while losing weight. Currently 170-175# range and 5’6” with “mama hips”. I got size large
