Now. Always check your trigger warnings first, there are some really heavy topics that are romanticized throughout the book. Here are my thoughts. “Instinct tells me he’s dangerous-but I cannot pull away from him. He’s gravity itself. I was caught in his orbit the moment I laid eyes on him at the hospital.” Five stars isn’t enough. This book deserves so much more. “You’ve wilted enough for the world. Don’t you think?” This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. I was immediately stuck on her style of writing. Everything was written beautifully, almost poetic. I wasn’t even all the way done with the book and went and bought not one, but two special signed editions with absolutely no regrets. Needless to say, I am absolutely obsessed. If there was one word to accurately describe this book it would be Beautiful. Devastatingly so. “The fabric of our souls is thin and worn. We must be gentle and love tirelessly.” The characters had my heart from the very beginning. Every single one of them. Usually there is always a quirk or flaw to a main character that irritates the crap out of me. Not here. Not this one. Liam, Lanston, Wynn. To d** for, almost literally. The way this book feels is almost like a dark, and I mean DARK, romance book and a thriller/suspense book had a baby. There are some twists and turns that I couldn’t see coming from a mile away. I wanted to know what was going to happen but I also felt where the story was going to take me and I didn’t want to think that far ahead. Coming to the end, what I thought was going to happen was so far from what actually happened. I think most of me being wrong was because my brain and my heart were constantly fighting between the inevitable. If you want to feel raw, unfiltered emotion this is the book you want to get your hands on. I’m not an emotional reader and this had me feeling everything I could possibly feel. I was sad, in love, giddy, annoyed....devastated.. This book really gave everything it had to give. I enjoyed this book. Definitely read the triggers. If you have a mental illness, tread carefully for sure. I feel it was kind of rushed towards the end whenever everything was happening. It was a sweet ending though!

- Found Family - Mental Health Rep - Forced Proximity - Suspense - Enemies to Lovers - ⚠️ Content Warning: This book is dark and the content can be triggering to some. I would not recommend reading it If you are uncomfortable with reading about suicidal ideations/attempts, self harm or violence. I absolutely loved this book, it was heartbreakingly beautiful and it had me SOBBING. The characters, the writing, and the plot had SO much depth. It had me so freaking emotional (let me know where to send my therapy invoices to @k.m.moronova), and I loved every minute of it. But, again please keep your mental health in mind when diving in, this book is not for everyone. After an attempt to take her own life, Wynn is sent to Harlow Sanctum. An unorthodox rehab that places you with a roomate based on their treatment plan. And her roommate? None other than the mysterious man she met the night she woke up in the hospital. What starts as a hostile situation between the pair, eventually unravels into something deeper. Together they face the demons that plague them, but can two broken people truly save each other?

The answer is yes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶 Just be warned. You will be forever haunted after reading this tragically beautiful tale. A tale of true love, passion, mental illness, and... what it is to feel truly connected to another human being. Or, in this tale... two human beings. But...it isn't what you think. Nothing about this story is what you think. That's what makes KM Moronova such a beautiful writer. It is what makes this tale of woe and revenge so unforgettable. We are introduced to our FMC Wynn... who is sent to a very unconventional mental hospital where she is "formally" introduced to our two MMCs, Liam and Lanston... although the three are polar opposites in many ways... they form a bond of trust and camaraderie that can't be broken even with the world against them. Even when they are all in danger. Their passion and friendship connect them in a truly spiritual way. And, even though it is a slow burn... the devotion and desire intensify that spice to a whole other level. Their love is an olive branch in the face of something sinister taking place, and our FMC finds herself completely obsessed in solving the mystery of what goes bump in the night Within the walls of this mental health facility. The way that the writer dives deep into the darkest corners of your psyche will have the hairs on your arms standing straight up. As a person who struggles with mental illness.... never have I encountered a story where the author explains mental illness in such a relatable way. Although this Tale left my heart macerated... in the end, all I felt was catharsis.
