Let's start off with what everyone complains about the most with this one: it does not include Army of Darkness. But who doesn't own multiple copies of that movie already anyways? There is supposedly a 4k release in the works from Universal and we will unfortunately have to wait for that. Getting down to the details of this specific purchase: 1. This shipped to me without a box so the collectors box could have been damaged, but thankfully it was not. This is something the seller needs to change so that a collectors set does not get ruined. 2. It is worth checking the pages as mine was loose for season 3 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead and needs to be fixed to properly hold the disc in. 3. The box set is really well put together and should not be skipped over by die hard fans due to one of the films being left out of the bundle. Licensing is tough sometimes and we have to make do with what we can! If you are an Evil Dead fan, whether lifelong or just getting into the franchise then this is a great set to collect! ... show more

This set is excellent. It's missing Army of Darkness for licensing reasons but it's the only thing missing. It's still widely available on Blu-ray. I recommend the. Scream Factory collector's edition. The Groovy Collection comes in bulky packaging but has a bonus DVD from a previous release that is out of print. This set is worth having just for that. But if you haven't seen the series, this is definitely worth it. I was surprised how great the show is. I had only seen the first season when it was new. It only got better after that. My advice... Get this now before it's only available on some stupid streaming app. ... show more

This box set is amazing, especially for the price. Packed with all the special features I'm ever going to need. Like some included with older collector sets for the original Evil Dead that are hard to find for a reasonable price. I didn't have the money to get nice s*** like that at the time. Evil Dead 2 seems to be the 25th edition, which is a pretty good edition. Sure this doesn't come with Army of Darkness, which makes sense considering that Ash versus the evil dead doesn't count Army of Darkness as part of its story. They kind of spliced elements of the first two movies and pieced together an intro for the show. The show I guess wasn't allowed to use any of the Army of Darkness stuff. It is a "evil dead collection" not "the complete Ash saga" or id be disappointed right along side ya! With that said, even if they could include Army of Darkness it's a kind of a good thing it doesn't come with it. What you want to get is the collector's edition of Army of Darkness that includes all of the different cuts of the movie. Trying to put all of that into this set would have probably made this one expensive mother! With so many Discs to juggle into the book. ... show more

This product is AWESOME. I love Bruce Campbell and the Evil Dead movies. Only complaint I had is the size of the box this was shipped in and the little care amazon seems to have regarding protecting products during shipping.

If you're already a fan of the Evil Dead franchise, this is definitely for you, at least if you don't already have the 4K versions. If you're not into behind the scenes stuff such as "making of" and convention panels, then this set is not for you. One of the main reason I got this was because of the Bonus disc with all kinds of behind the scenes stuff. So, if you like the Evil Dead franchise and the behind the scenes, this set is for you. Other wise you're better off just buying them individually. Would have given it 5 stars if it included a 4K of Army of Darkness, but I know that's a studio issue. ... show more

I am a huge fan of anything Evil Dead. The movies, the TV show, the video game. I was sick of looking for the movies and having to pay for them on separate streaming services when I was in the mood to watch them, so I found this and immediately bought it. I didn't know when I purchased it that it comes with the complete "Ash vs Evil Dead" series, so that was a pleasant surprise. My ONLY complaint was having to purchase Army of Darkness separately. I haven't had a chance to dig into the Bonus Content disc yet, but am excited to do so. The packaging is also awesome! ... show more

This collections is the best thing you can get for an Evil Dead fan. All the movies including the show! The only downside is that it doesn't come with Army of Darkness, which probably had something to do with licensing. Other than that this collection is, GROOVY!
