This really is nice if you all ready don't have tng on bluray all ready if you do then it is a bit of a hard sell. Would have been nice if the movies had the 4k disk that is the one problem I have with the set.

Years ago when TNG was first released on BluRay after its upgrade I was dying to buy that set even though I had the series on DVD. I am so glad I waited! This package is cheaper than the initial offering, with the added bonus of the TNG films AND all 3 seasons of PIC. So happy I waited ❤️

I have slowly been going thru this collection. I finally got to Picard and the last disc has a scratch on it that is a perfect circle that cuts right thru the middle of the disc. This makes part of the disc unreadable and my blu-ray player consistently crashes because of it. Unfortunately, I ordered this collection months ago and am outside of the return window, so I am going to have to look for a disc resurfacing service if I want to keep this in good shape. With so many discs in this collection, you may not realize you have a bad disc until months down the road. ... show more

    • Nice box and decent value for the number of blu-rays, but the extras are underwhelming
Doing some quick searching on Amazon, it seems this is the cheapest way to get every Picard adventure on Blu-ray. The Next Gen complete series set is $137, the Picard complete series set is $60, and the Next Gen movie four pack is at $20. So you're basically getting the movies for free with the Picard Legacy Collection. That being said, the movies are the only ones out of the bunch available in 4K, so you might want to get the Next Gen and Picard complete series Blu-rays separately and then spring for the more expensive 4K copies of the four films. Then again, if you're like me, you probably don't care to revisit the movies anyways. I’d also sooner buy Picard Season 3 by itself (currently $26) and skip getting the poorly-received first two seasons. Because beyond the discs, nothing here is a must-have. The packaging is stylish and does have enough wow factor to make for a nice gift. It's also more compact than you can tell from the pictures, which is a plus in terms of storage. However, I’m not impressed by the extra pieces of memorabilia. The badges have no depth to them at all - they're flat, cheap printouts on a cut-out magnet sheet. The coasters are made out of some kind of simple cardstock that doesn't seem like it would hold up to liquid spills at all. The playing cards are pretty plain with just a Starfleet logo on the back. And the booklet just has a bunch of Picard quotes with images. Why would you read this when you could watch the episodes? I bought this as a gift, and I think it will serve well in that respect, but if you're buying for yourself, I would save some money and just buy the separate Blu-rays. ... show more

    • Two great series plus 4 great films
Even though the special items that came with the series were less than stellar, both The Next Generation and Picard are great to watch. My favorite films are “Generations” and “First Contact”. I highly recommend this to both Star Trek fans and Sci-Fi fans in general.

    • Absolutely Not Worth It
Everything about this, except perhaps the box, screams "cheap money grab." The most disappointing component was the "comm badges," which I initially overlooked because I thought they were a sticker sheet. If you're enough of a fan to consider this purchase, you likely have some of the components already. If that's the case, there is absolutely no reason to consider it. If you really don't have a single item in the set, then price out the Blu-ray sets individually and see if you come out ahead buying this instead.
