Other than the length, this is about as standard looking a trench coat as you will find. That is not to say it isn't nice. In fact, it's a staple in a closet. But it's also not distinctive (with one exception). Overall, the product quality feels pretty good, but not luxurious. The way it was shipped means it came out quite wrinkly, with some creases in the wrong places. I'm not sure how easy it will be to get those out, but we'll try with a steamer if we ever feel like we care enough. The notable unusual aspect of the coat -- and it's in the title of the listing -- is it is enlongated. Quite a bit. It is fine on my 5'7" wife, but borders on being just a bit too long. But just make sure you pay attention to that detail. If you are on the shorter side, it may just be a bit too long for comfort. So overall, this is a nice, basic add to the wardrobe here for the times a trench coat is needed. It's not fancy, but it's functional.

"This review is for The Drop Women’s Emilia Elongated Trench, Hummus, XXL, Plus Size This is a nice long coat. I'm a little shorter at 5'4"" so this goes nearly to my ankles. I took off a star because for the price point, it should be lined. This is at best a fall jacket (maybe for windy days). I don't know how well this would actually keep you warm in cold weather. I have wanted a fantastic looking trench coat since forever. I had an old oversized men’s army trench coat many years ago. My wardrobe consisted of jeans, flannel shirts, and construction boots at the time. My taste in fashion has changed since then and I now prefer a trench coat that actually fits me. The Drop Emilia Elongated Trench is the fabulous trench coat I was hoping for. The coat feels fantastic on, fitting absolutely perfectly in my normal size medium. Paired with skinny jeans and good looking boots, this trench coat is a great look. I highly recommend this trench coat!

I really like this trench, it does fit me well although the sleeves are a tad long, come to mid hand and the shoulders are a bit big but everything is on me I have small shoulders. I love the look of this trench with the tie in the back, it makes it more flattering on my figure and looks cute from the side and the back with a bow. I also like how it looks just open in the front, very cute! It's lined really nicely and so soft and just the right amount of warmth needed for fall and spring. I like the double buttons, makes it more secure and figure fitting. I am a size large or 12 usually and I think it fits pretty well other than the sleeves, might get them tailored. It feels very well made.

I'm 5'9" and I would've liked it to be maybe 2" shorter still. It is long and I don't think I can recommend this to people on the shorter side. With that out of the way, it DOES look nice. It has the exact look of a trench coat with the right details that you want. The upper portion is sized well. The coat looks better closed, opened it kind of makes me feel bigger than I am. It's very basic functionality wise. There's only two pockets (small by the way). The lining inside is very basic. The material is also just basic.

I got this for my wife and she loves it. It's a light tan color, kind of warm--a nice alternative to the usual black or brown or khaki of these kinds of coats. Fits as expected and is nicely tailored. There is a belt through permanent hoops at the waist. Fabric appears to be water resistant and did not soak up water when I tested it. Due to the fabric it's substantially lighter than similar coats she's had in the past. The stitching is good and it looks like it will last a long time. Recommended.
