This is a good desk. If you're looking for something on a budget, this is great. I like the shelf to keep my printer on, I like the leg room, really the only thing I don't like is the crack is has from being two separate pieces of wood. But I'm an artist and I find that I have all the space I need with this desk, even though I often have it a bit messy. I also scratched it in one spot (my fault), and it doesn't seem like the wood underneath is unbearably yellow when you just have a basic little mark on it the way a lot of more affordable desks do. Putting it together wasn't that bad, I'm 19, clumsy, and not that good with small parts so I was surprised I managed put this together on my own. Towards the end it would definitely help to have another person hold things up for you while you place things together, but if I managed to do it, I'm sure you'll do just fine. ... show more

I got the black one and it looks great! Pros: The desk top is a semi glossy black wood finish which I think looks and feels great. There was no damage to the wood as others have stated. It was also one of the easiest pieces of furniture I've ever assembled. It took me about an hour and there was never a point where I was scratching my head while reading the instructions. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness of a $130 desk, and admittedly before I had installed the struts and the cross bar, it was more wobbly than I would like, but once I got all the screws tightened and all the bars installed, it is surprisingly sturdy! Cons: The drawers are a little "new age" for me but I've actually started to like them. They are cloth inserts that don't always close properly but they can hold a lot of stuff (including my Quest VR headset). I was hoping the bottom tray would fit my PC but it's too small. However, I was able to use it for another purpose, and that is to hold my big battery backup and my sub woofer. Overall: I would definitely recommend this desk! It fit all my needs, looks super clean, and is pretty darn sturdy. ... show more

Wonderful small desk for a small office. Easy instructions and all tools / hardware were provided. Took about 90 minutes for me to build alone. The only issue was that there were no holes drilled for the drawers to be on the left side. Didn't bother me, as I I am fine with them on the right, but caused me some time to figure out what was going on. The felt drawers hold a lot. I gave it 5 stars for ease of build, which it is if you’re paying attention to the pictures in the instruction manual. I wasn’t looking carefully and ended up having to flip one of the pieces so that all the screw holes aligned properly. As other reviewers mentioned the hex tool that is supplied is made from very mild steel and will round out by the time you’re finished. I was even careful to not fully tighten/torque all the screws until I was completely finished and the tool still rounded out, but I got the job done. Once built the desk is very sturdy with no lateral movement in any direction. The packaging was excellent with plenty of styrofoam between the pieces to keep everything from shifting and scratching during shipping. I received the box and all the pieces without any damage. I can only assume that the factory uses the same bag of screws for multiple items as I had a few extra bolts the didn’t fit anything and no mention of them in the manual. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and will not hesitate from buying this desk again. The two drawers are more like fabric bins that fit very snuggly into the slots. They were definitely not designed for constantly opening and closing but are fine for holding extra office supplies that you’ll only access occasionally like an extra pen or notepad. ... show more

It came on time but it some dents and scratches on it and I paid good money for this... I have work to do so I don't have time to return and wait for another one.. it's pretty inconvenient, I'm really particular about my things... Idk maybe we can work something out
