Historically we use recycled desks that have been purchased through the years...big bulky executive desks, old cubicle desks, etc. They never matched, often took up too much room in the small offices, and were damaged. I bought this product when I moved into a new space that had the room for a computer desk, and I really couldn’t be happier with its height, its width, the largeness of its storage shelves, and the fact that there is a space built on top and underneath for my computer tower. The installation and assembly was very streamlined, and very easy. I didn’t feel that there was an excessive amount of parts or tools to use another thing that I found very useful. Is that because all of the feet are on the ground with a supporting crossbar it would not be too difficult to slip some thing underneath the computer desk just in case a computer chair was just a bit too tall. ... show more
