When I tell you I've tried every hair mousse on the market, I'm not kidding. This Doux mousse is THE BEST I've ever used in my entire life. I recently did the big chop (not by choice) and was feeling very insecure about my short hair. I realized that after wearing my hair natural for 10 years that the curling creams and butters would not be as effective on my shorter 3b/3c hair. I honestly don't remember when I first bought this mousse or how I became familiar with the brand, but I really appreciate that it's a black-owned brand and the quality is nice and a little goes a long way. I wash my hair once or twice a week in the shower and after I apply leave-in conditioner, I apply a generous portion to my hair and work the mousse through my hair with my fingertips. I brush and style my baby hairs and after about an hour or so of air drying, my hair is absolutely PERFECT. It works well and holds EXTREMELY well! No flaking, no caking, no stickiness, no drying out---It holds well and leaves my curls unbelievably soft and juicy!!! I love that I don't have to reapply the mousse for 2 to 3 days after washing my hair. Usually on the third day I just put mousse around the parameter of my hair and miss my hair with water and work it in and it's still just as beautiful as day one. This mousse leaves my hair so soft, not sticky, hydrated, and really defines my curls. There is no other mousse like this one. I recently made the mistake of buying another brand when I traveled to Vegas because I needed a 4 oz version and I could not find the travel size on Amazon or in stores. I will never make that mistake again. I promptly threw that other mousse in the trash, after it made my hair horribly sticky. I also use the doux gel and omg-- amazing. I am going on another trip this week and I bought a 3 oz foam pump bottle and promptly filled the bottle with doux mousse. Wow I understand it is more expensive than others, it is worth every penny! If you have curly hair and use multiple products. Layering one on top of the other ℹ definitely urge you to try this product. You can eliminate all of the other products. It really is amazing to me. It works really well with hold all day long, it’s not greasy or sticky. It leaves my curls soft

I used this for a twist out style on my daughters. We’ve learned the best twist out for them starts with dry hair. Well, I used this as I twisted their hair in two-strand twist. Using a pretty decent amount to saturate the hair and it was the best twist out! Hair was shiny, soft, and bouncy. The twist held for a week then the twist out held for another week. Worth the money. I now use this brand of products for my hair as well.

My hair doesn’t shine usually, I’m 4a 4b but this makes it shiny and defines my curls. I’m shocked tbh. It’s a little expensive though

Ordered this based on theglambelle’s (Insta) recommendation and it is just WOW! 🤩✨ It adds the hold I need + moisture and shine but didn’t weigh my hair down, as most products do/are too heavy for me! I have fine, low density, 2c-3b hair for reference. I also ordered their gel at her recommendation but haven’t tried the combo yet, as it just arrived last night. Excited to try it on my next wash day! Great job, The Doux!
