Great read
Format: Kindle
Engaging plot, good character development. Apocalypse, Survival & Zombie fans will enjoy it. You know you're hooked when it makes you cry.

Amazing
Format: Kindle
A magnificent portrayal of an apocalyptic tale. The characters are dynamic and pull you into their journeys. I loved the way each book focused on a different character's story while keeping all the characters connected and together. It was action packed, but not overdone, I couldn't put the series down. I needed to keep turning the page to see what was going to happen. I fell in love with the characters and my heart broke at times during their struggles. Hands down one of the best apocalypse series I have read. I will definitely be seeking out more from this author. ... show more

This story is 5 stars, the editing is 3 stars
Format: Kindle
The story is great, and holds up through all the books. Good characters, believable motivations. My only problem is with the frequent grammar errors that a competent editor should have caught. "They would have ran," 'they would have went," and many more like that -> not great. "She lead them into the room." This misuse of the word lead instead of "led" was frequent -> also not great. ... show more

The Complete Sundown Series
Format: Kindle
I love a book that can draw me in, and the more I read, the more I learned about and admired the Duncan family. The author wove, an amazing story of life and death, hope and hate...Each book in this series was balanced, and always had me wanting to read more.

Fantastic series!
Format: Kindle
This is probably one of the best series of this genre I've ever read. Every book was excellent and kept me reading into the wee hour's of the night. Characters were all believable and very interesting! Please read, you will not be disappointed! Thank you, Courtney!!!

Awesome
Format: Kindle
I couldn't put the books down! Then I tried to read it slowly but I always wanted to know what was going to happen next! I was very sad at the end but of course not everyone can survive the apocalypse! Thank you for a great story!

Really a 4.5 star book!!
Format: Kindle
Well written, with good character development; several seem like cliches initially, but the author does a good job fleshing them out and making them unique enough to keep your interest. There are times when the characters that are so careful make stupid careless actions (why would a woman who is all about protecting her family let a 5 year old out to play while she was trying to clear a multi-car pileup from the road?), or a few incredibly smart characters that just seem very slow on the uptake (you suspect the research you're doing is incredibly dangerous and/or illegal, there is a lab accident, the doctor exposed goes zombie 24-hrs later, but the prepper/rancher has to explain it to you they might be connected because it never occurred to you?). Despite those small annoyances, this is really a 4.5 star book. I read the collection straight thru, and normally with a book this size I take a short break to read something else for a while before finishing. ... show more
