  • Awesome Book.
I read the book from cover to cover three times. It’s a great book to have if you’re just starting off in HVAC. Easy terms to remember I will recommend it to anyone.

  • Excellent for everyone who wants to improve in HVAC.
This is worth the money. If you are a beginner, a student, or even someone who’s already in the field, I recommend this book. It’s straightforward such as getting to the point and easy to grasp what you are reading. It’s a good book to grasp the basics of HVAC, so you can retain the knowledge. I graduated a trade school not too long ago and while reading this book, I wish I would have had this while in school. It would have been so helpful. So I highly recommend this if you’re a current HVAC student or considering to get into this career whether you go to school or train with a company. Great work by the author, Stanley Huber. ... show more

  • Good book for begginers
I found that this is a well written book that is easy to understand. It has a lot of good information for anyone who is starting out in the field of HVAC. It is not an all encompassing book so do not expect to buy this and be an expert right off the bat, but nonetheless it is full of useful and interesting information to aspiring HVAC techs. ... show more

  • It does not tell how to do anything.
No help at all for DIY. It does not tell how to do anything. It just explains some terminology with vague descriptions. No information on manifold use or basic instillations or servicing. It did not come with the "Incl. Bous PDF". I missed the return time window or I would have returned it.

  • Covers lots of different types of HVAC
I got this book to make sure I knew what the maintenance needs were for my home’s HVAC equipment. I have an old steam radiator system for part of it and hot water pump radiators for the second part. I liked this book most because it ended up teaching me about HVAC systems I had never heard of like before like geothermal heat exchangers. I also liked it because it shows fundamental principles like how to calculate/measure capacitance percent failure acceptance ranges. I would have though my measurements put me in the clear but the book shows you how to calculate necessary ranges of acceptable readouts. ... show more

  • At first glance I am unimpressed
I am considering a career in this, which is one reason why I got this “bible” but I am disappointed at first glance. I the author has been in the business for over a decade it says, and the most he can give is 130 pages? Oh, there is the note that says we’ll send you two “free” ebooks with proof of your purchase, obviously stating information is left out. 130 pages? Has this guy ever SEEN a bible? I also got a plumbing and electrical book that are both about 350-400pgs, something I would really feel fits the term of “bible”. Also, the only reason this is even that long, is because he uses a big font size to make it appear longer with lots of spacing inbetween. The information may be good, but so must also be another option. ... show more

This is great for homeowners and hvac techs who are learning in the trade. It uses different language that is sometimes easier to understand. I am glad i have it. We'll written and as I've said it uses language that is easy to understand. Great reference book for the beginner tech or the advanced homeowner. ... show more
