Pardon the image being blurry but the ingredients list differs from what is listed on the product page on Amazon, so I am hoping this helps someone. I appreciate that I liked this product despite my prior experience with it and apprehension about the actual ingredients list. A good friend of mine swears by this stuff. I was reluctant to use it because I didn't like that the ingredients incorporated cones or propylene glycol nor could I shake the "sore" feelings I had about using this product that had developed over the years because of the first jar. But, I summoned a little openness and there's been nothing but blue skies since. In using it I recalled that my main issue the very first time around was that the product didn't play well with other products. It made everything bead up and made a mess in my hair. This time I used it with nothing but a light leave-in. If you're interested the leave-in was Kinky Curly's Knot today. You don't need anything else with it. It has a bit of hold and it's moisture rich. Because of that, you don't need to use a gel or something with significant hold. I used it to do a braid out. It was very defined and still soft to the touch. I know that's something some people struggle to find. Though I am used to a moderately full head of medium to long hair, healthwise, my hair is not in the best shape I've seen it in right now. After using this as my only styler and moisturizer on wash day, it's definitely feeling much better to the touch. Leaps and bounds better. Soft and supple but not weighed down, greasy, or sticky. My hair honestly feels amazing and this is coming from someone well aware that my hair is not technically at its best. This couldn't have come at a better time. I was starting to feel lost about what to do. My family was about to be surprised by a big chop. My hair isn't that bad off. I just don't have patience for damaged ends and dryness.

This cream gave me the best twist out I've done in years. It held the twists so well and didn't create a white caste on my hair or make it feel stiff or crunchy. When the twists were dried and I took the twists out, my hair fluffed out so beautifully with minimal manipulation. And my hair feels hydrated down to the roots! I've used several other TGIN products and I can't believe it took me this long to try this one. It's going to be a staple for me now.

So I'm a self-proclaimed product junkie and I decided to purchase the tgin daily moisturizer after I read a positive review on it on a natural hair site. When I first used this product, I was disappointed with how thick it was and how it made my strands "stringy". Nevertheless, I used it in a twistout, slept in it, and took it down the next day. It was flake city. I was really disappointed that I'd just blown $16 on a product that just made my hair flake all over the place, and contemplated handing it off to someone else. Instead I just put it aside for the time being, and went back to the Cantu coconut curling cream and Shea Moisture's curl enhancing smoothie. After a while, I felt the urge to use the tgin moisturizer again, and went back on here to read some of the reviews, since it has a lot of positive ones. One of the reviewers said when they used the product they spritzed their hair with water first, used a dime sized amount, and then sealed with oil. I thought, why not try that? So I did, I spritzed my hair with water, used a dime sized amount, sealed with my shea butter mixture, and did a twistout. I'm happy to say, the results were amazing. My hair was totally moisturized, my curls were defined with a lot less frizz than usual and there were no flakes. NOT A SINGLE ONE. When you're using this product, a little goes a long way, since the consistency is so thick. If you have 3c or 4a curls this product might be a bit too thick for you, but if you've got 4c or combination 4b/4c curls like I do, this product might be just the thing you've been looking for.

My soft 4C hair responds to other curling/textrurizing products by merely shrinking to 1/4th the length and being weighed down, exposing excessive thinnng. Tgin Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer is the first product I have used that actually softens my hair and adds much needed FULLNESS, without weighing my hair down and looking greasy, wet and thin. It does not become 'crunch'y or takes hours to dry, It is so SOFT and dries into hair quickly. I have applied just a SMALL amount to my hair while damp and also dry. It takes just a few seconds to apply, and not much styling time, unless you want to do so. My hair is soft, full with a nice texture. It does not produce 'ringlets' and that's okay, neither does it shrink the hair. Will definitely buy again. So easy to use with a full and natural look! I have tried so may other products and have been disappointed with the outcome.
