    • Don’t use for calculus.
You can’t multiply to a negative power. It means I have to manually flip the reciprocal in order to use my exponent which is a pain when trying to use this in a fast paced setting. If you are using for algebra should work but not good for precal and above.

I used this in a statistics course and this saved me. I had a lot of handy features that once learned really saved me a lot of time and frustration. Unit tests would be slated for three hours and it would take the full three hours by hand, but with this totally amazing piece of technology, I could take the unit test in slightly over an hour. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I had to purchase a booklet separately to explain how to properly work all these features. ... show more

    • unusual 2 line display which is hard to read in normal light
Replaced an earlier model of the TI-30 thinking I would get much the same device, but this new one was revised with a very non standard display which makes it user unfriendly. The old TI-30, much used and useful had started to have display problems, but if the trash man hadn't already taken it, I would recover it and trash this one. ... show more

    • Great scientific calculator for your basic needs
I needed a calculator for my chemistry course in college but did not want to spend a ton of money for just this one class. This is perfect! Does everything I need it to including exponents and is super user friendly, and easy to use without needing to even look at the instructions.
